Monday 21/6/10

The first two segments are about convincing Paatti to attend the
"Girl seeing ceremony" of Nivedha. It is incidental that Anu finds out
about Paatti letting the cat sleep on her stove - Paatti is bored to
cook just for herself. Anu labels Paatti as " Rajayam vendaam nnu
sollum Maharani ". Nivedha would much rather have paatti blessing
her on Friday - "not here and not today paatti" . Paatti agrees and as
a punishment Anu cooks.

Intha vazhisal thangalai da sammmyyyyy - Karthik and Shree are in a restaurant. Shree has better taste than RR - this place looks a shade better than RR's choice for his family No 2 !!! Karthik chides her for being a spendthrift and Shree says that she has never entered such "hep " restaurants before - "all for you, you are not used to kai yenthi Bhavans....for sure. " As both the vazhisals are eating Priya enters the same place with her friend. Karthik is all set to propose but as he opens his mouth, he sees Priya. Thundai kaanOm thuniyai kaanOm nnu odidaraar. But Priya sees him, runs out and misses. Comes to Shree and asks " Inge irunthathu Karthik thaane?? my brother..." Shree tells her that she knows only actor karthik. Priya rightly
observes "un kitte ketten paaru..I am a...." - leaves. Shree is happy to
see her SIL who has "anger above her nose " ..

Tuesday 22nd June 2010 Episode - 42

Pallavi's household - at the breakfast table, RR, Pallavi's father & Karthik having breakfast. RR in deep thought. Priya comes to say that she is leaving for college. RR wishes her all the best and asks her to do well... Priya is very sad. RR notices and asks for the reason. She says that she thought daddy dear would drop her in college because it is the first day. (idhennangadaa.. avan avan naadu vittu naadu pOi padikkiraan.. adhE oorla irukkira collegekku daddy varanumaa?) Priya says each time she gets disappointed..Pallavi tries to mediate, Priya tells her off... RR accepts to drop her off. Remembers Manju asking him for the same and he promising. RR goes to change, calls Manju and tells he would be there to pick her up in half an hour's time. Downstairs Priya tell tales of Karthik meeting Shree. Karthik refuses it was him... Pallavi's mom wonders if girls could be like that.. Pallavi tells about the girl who vambuu izhuthufied her, Priya says this female whom she asked also is the same, wishes that she never meets her in life ever after.. Karthik wonders and leaves.. People at home chide Priya for telling false stories. RR comes and picks up Priya and drop her off at the college.

Anu's household. Manju waiting for her daddy. Anu tries to pacifiy a tensed Manju. ding dong goes the bell... paatti at the door, all welcome her, paatti gets senti on seeing a photo of RR and her on the side table. Manju is sent to fetch Nivedha and Santhosh. Anu goes to get something..Paatti takes the photo and cries.. watched by Anu... Nivedha and Santhosh join in.. Manju seeks paatti's blessings for the first day of college..Nivedha teases and Anu scolds her. Paatti says not to, for they are after all children,,Anu says she is old enough.. paatti tells that kids are always kids for the parents.. Anu sees a chance and tells her cant parents forgive children... paatti doesnt have any answer. Anu serves coffee.. RR arrives. Calls amma, tries to talk.. Paatti as usual diverts and starts talking to Santhosh. Manju says it is time to leave, says bye to all..RR leaves, paatti even refuses to turn and look in his direction..

Tuesday 29th June 2010 Episode - 47

Sundaram follows paatti. Paati lambasts RR and his double life. Tells Sundaram to answer truthfully - manasatchikku virodhamillaama - if RR has really gone to the factory? Sundaram is silent... Paati asks why he is silent... telling the truth is so difficult? Sundaram says RR has gone to the factory.. his words and face dont match.. Paatti says RR is so lucky to have him as a friend, who wants to save him whatever be the cost, but the solution cannot be final she finishes. She knows that RR has gone to that Pallavi's house continues cursing RR.. Sundaram tries to stop her. She says RR never listens to her , but now he doesnt even keep up his promise. She left his wife and daughter to suffer...He wouldnt even come if Anu is fighting for her life, Pallavi is so important for him. Sundaram says Pallavi is paavam. Paatti loses her top and says not only is that Pallavi a 2nd wife but is also 2nd rated. Only Anu is paavam for believing so much in that useless fellow. Sundaram says Paati would be sorry one day when they all live under the same roof. Paati says that would never ever happen, not even after her death! Wants to meet Pallavi to ask why she is hell bent on spoiling Anu's life. Sundaram is aghast.. Promises to arrange a nichayam with the groom's the following sunday. Paatti gives a final chance to Sundaram and his waste friend RR, hires an auto and leaves.

The vazhisal jOdi in the nadu theru. Karthik asks Shree why she bunked office and she replies saying it is sunday. He vazhunjufies saying how his work doesnt have any holiday. Shree wants to speak something important to him.. thinks back on what her friend at the orphanage said, on her lies and Nivedha asking her to be careful. Decides to put the declaration of love in the backburner, tells that her parents wanted to thank him. Now his turn to say that he has something important to say - thinks back on his gentleman promise, talks of some Rajesh in the slum.. wants to be invited to Shree's house and she promises one day she will arrange a virundhu for him. Both decide to leave...thinking to themselves on how to declare their love... (hhssbaaa... thaangalada saami..)
