This is something that i want to say about the rakhi special episode aired on 28th.The first round 'phataak dann se' seemed kind of odd to me. What seemed odd was that every team sang a song about rakhi and they all sang really old songs from very old movies(resham ki dori,anpadh,kajal).even if one were to assume that these kids have that kind of knowledge (which is a little unlikely) ,another thing that seemed odd is that when each they were given the cue they immdetialey came up with the names of the movies(west-resham ki dori,north-kajal,central-majboor,east-anpadh).These movies are rare , to say the least. If one were to give a cue, I don't think theses are the names that would com into a person's head.Even if they did, they probably would come in after some thought.but these kids named these movies without batting an eyelid, I mean they didn't even think. Whereas when they were given other letters later, north- s,central –d,they thought for a couple of seconds before coming up with a name.
I thought it seemed odd that they name such movies without a thought and then sing the songs perfectly from the start. Maybe they were told beforehand that all of them would get one cue on this particular letter and they had to sing a rakhi song. Just a thought,since the way they answered seemed very surprising,almost unbelievable . not that it made any difference to anything scorewise..
I know I'll get brickbats for this statement from some ppl..i think that the very suggestion that something was planned in antakshari will ruffle feathers and ppl will take up cudgels.so please do be polite in ur responses(!!!) ,if u disagree with me (and i think most ppl wil disagree)
