As you all know how the argument was made between Annu kapoor & Juhi. Anu kapoor was arguing that younger generation has nothing of its own and mainly that its not patriotic in any way, while Juhi was offended and argued back that even though we are into sports, music & fashion.. we still can stand up for our country.

Though it was said to be April fool's prank but didnt' look like it, there was a strong point in this argument that we should think about it once. So here are questions to think about...

  • Do we still have same feelings like our Patriotic hereos had?
  • Are we still willing to stand up for our country?
  • What do you think is most important, or "desh ka maan" for our generation? what symbolizes our generation?
  • Dont we really have nothing of our own or because of us, the traditions and culture still exist?
  • If you were to be at Juhi's place, would you be also offended? or agree with Anu Kapoor?

And lastly, was this argument meant to be joke? I say jokes are something that everyone can laugh at? atleast after the joke is over..

Anyways.. What are your views on this? will be waiting for ur response 😊

Do we still have same feelings like our Patriotic hereos had? No - NOT to the same extent as them... Probably because we havent seen what it feels being ruled by foreginers... Are we still willing to stand up for our country? Yes What do you think is most important, or "desh ka maan" for our generation? what symbolizes our generation? I feel everyone likes to believe he/she is patriotic, and to an extent we are, but the current generation is less rigid - I mean they dont mind aping the West or taking pride in following them... Wat symbolises our generation - success, career oriented, go-getters, ambition, fame, high living standards... Dont we really have nothing of our own or because of us, the traditions and culture still exist? All traditions and culture is our elders' heritage which we have inherited... And I feel they exist because of our older generation - and we should value and respect that... The only thing that is our addition to this is probably "Valentine's Day" - and I feel totally disgusted that it is fast becoming a part of our culture - that is a shame...
  • If you were to be at Juhi's place, would you be also offended? or agree with Anu Kapoor? I would not be offended at all... Annu Kapoor had a VERY valid point when he said that all patriotism is seen on the cricket field - we cry when we loose a match, but no one cries when something like Nithari takes place👏 It is perfectly spot-on...

And lastly, was this argument meant to be joke? I say jokes are something that everyone can laugh at? atleast after the joke is over.. It was a PJ...😆

* Do we still have same feelings like our Patriotic hereos had?
Yes,I think we do have it...because still army men are fighting for us there...
* Are we still willing to stand up for our country?
Yes,anytime..
* What do you think is most important, or "desh ka maan" for our generation? what symbolizes our generation?
we are definately of next gen whose thoughts do differ from our elders but we do have desh ka mann but in a different way as in Rang de basanti..
* Dont we really have nothing of our own or because of us, the traditions and culture still exist?
India is known for its culture and will be known for it for several generations...we are perpetuating wat our elders had...
* If you were to be at Juhi's place, would you be also offended? or agree with Anu Kapoor?
no i'll definitely offend...patriotism is not just shown on cricket field but also on various other aspects ...i think anu kapoor must see Rang De Basanti to know wat exactly is nex gen's patriotism..
