Folks, don't get disheartened. I hear the ACD character will take centrestage again. I didn't hear this from the horse's mouth, only from a third party. It may be another brief interlude to shore up flagging viewer ratings before CR returns to his original storyline (assuming he actually operates from a clear framework) and ACD fades away ...
Btw, did anyone notice how badly the opening credits have been edited to show the new Charulatha in place of the old one. They completely left out the name Saakshi Sivaa -- and I suspect several other actors -- even though the ACD character appears in at least 10 frames!
I have been watching last week's episodes this week in Singapore. Not only was it foolhardy of Jamuna to slap Indra in public it was also totally inappropriate for her to question her in public. Likewise, it was totally unprofessional of AC Shankar to reveal in public the contents of Indra's suicide letter. He should have done what he subsequently did -- check whether the handwriting was indeed Indra's -- and wait for the post-mortem of the body (to make sure it was indeed suicide and not murder) plus confer with his superiors before speaking to the press about the letter. Totally unprofessional. But I shouldn't have expected professionalism in the first place!
Oh, and the lawyer's appearance with Abhi at the police station to spar with JC was totally inappropriate and unprofessional; wasn't Abhi supposed to have engaged some top-shot laywer to represent the SKPD family, someone who would have known it was unbecoming to take to the police station what he should take to the courts? No wonder Abhi has to read up the law herself š
Pat, thanks for the updates and take your time over yesterday's episode.
