In the previous episode, the Great ACD runs into 3 cases, and fails in solving even one of them by the end of the episode.
First he meets Srini in connection with the santhi accident case. Makes a few false accusations and leaves.
He is on his way somewhere, and has the great common sense to multi-task. He talks to Arjun's friend and asks for a few names and numbers. But comes empty handed in finding his man. How many more days will this lousy police officer offer chase of an innocent victim? The encounter with Otthakai is the funniest. Upon being called, he appears full speed in his jeep. His fellow police officer is as inefficient as the great ACD. He sees a little boy holding the otthakai, but let's the important witness go! The great ACD is no better. After inspecting the apartment, and NOT sealing it for evidence, he comes down. A lady is holding the othakai, he snatches it, and RETURN'S IT BACK! What a dummy! And then, the great ACD just walks away fast after hurling some instructions!!
In comes Arjun, running into the wickets, all the way from the pavillion la Shoib Akhtar. He swoops upon the witness of the CD, leaps well above the stumps, er, gate, and comes with the prize wicket, errr evidence, CD!!! Taaaaaaaaaliyan!
Arjun, you make a fantastic investigator. Can you please give the great ACD some training? In professional as well as love matters?? Your wife pines for you, ACD's gf only gives people dirty looks.
