Oh God, just when we had a discussion last weekend about what other role would suit ACD best he has to appear in the role of a drunkard. Yucks! I hope he acts a drunkard who redeems himself after a few episodes or just appears in a walkon part and then goes away to sober up. Hard to imagine the stern ACD playing a drunkard.

Anyhow, I am curious to watch him in Surya. Unfortunately, Surya is shown at 1 pm in Singapore when we working folks will be at work. Can anyone post clips online and direct us to the link? I'd greatly appreciate such a service.

I just wanted to add that Thu's episode did not end as noted above. There is one more short scene. ACD is lounging (upstairs) in his sofa - in a shirt & lungi(?), when his (security) constable reports that SKP's amma Pechiamma has come. He asks him to bring her up and his face shows some worry. He recalls a previous (last?) meeting. Flashback.. He is at home with his parents when Pechiamma pleads with ACD, "Enakku orae oru pillai thaan - avana onnum pannidathae". ACD's reply had been, "Neenga onnum kavalai padaatheenga" (or something like that). Back to ACD in his sofa.. and Freeze!

Btw, looking at the pictures that Atina posted, it seems that our dear, highly-stressed Kams (who has just started her new posting on Monday) forgot another scene -- when ACD and Abhi meet again. He's in a rust-coloured shirt again but it looks like a denim, unlike the dress shirt he was in earlier, so I suspect it's a new scene. Unless it's a flashback for Abhi and I am mistaken about the kind of rust coloured shirt he wore in the earlier scene (the devasam scene).

Bonheur, you are right. The scene of ACD wearing a red/rustic shirt and talking to Abhi is a flashback. It was when Shyam was doing the memorial rites for his dead father.

Jiggly, if you want to start another weekend discussion, I have just the right topic for you -- sartorial matters. What outfit and colours would suit ACD and Priya best (we could include hair style and accessories for Priya; I know fans are going to rip off those black beads!)

ACD seems to have lost some weight and should say does look a little younger.

Kams that's ok - don't sweat over it - I know a lot of us love to read your updates. Have read in another forum that they visit here just to read the updates.

I would love to update but I won't be home untill after the show airs here ( Eastern Time). I can do it around midnight. If there are no takers who can do it earlier I will do it late tonight. However my update won't be half as animated or descriptive as Kams', Dasa's or Giri's.

and thank you atina for the link for the surya serial. beats me how come ACD has taken up a role of a drunkard in surya but doesn't come back to lakshmi where he looked TONS better & also had quite a substantial role.😕

Speaking of photos, are there any computer boffins out there who can doctor a couple of photos. I mean get ACD and Priya into an intimate scene -- nothing salacious; just holding hands or locked in a gentle embrace and gazing at one another should do wonders for morale over the weekend 😃
