Nallaan did a very good job of changing Indu's mind. I was like why didnt the parents nor the doctor think of this. From the very first I was like why don't Karthik and Shanthi just explain to Indu the whole story about what happened and also about Abirami instead of keeping mum and acting melodramatic whenever Indu asks a question. And the same thing is told by Indu earlier..she says like why don't somebody answer my question. Nyaayam thaanae ava kekaradhu. Sometimes the story tellers sure infuriate me. Guess thats part of why they are popular. They are supposed to make us emote I think in some way.
Indhu simply refuses to believe both Kartik and Shanti. She is under the impression that her mum is backing and covering up Karthik's fault. With the doctor she was very formal but not quite at ease,,,yet she still mantained her composure and didn't retaliate unlike to Arjun or Jeeva whom she considers as family..
However, she was very much down to earth when Nallan was narrating the story of 2 friends sleeping under the tree and the consequences which rose thereafter. Indu did not feel that Nallan was supportive of her step father thus whatever he was saying was like a gospel truth.
She listened to his advice that whatever ppl may say its always better to analyse the situation giving the benefit of the doubt to the person/persons concerned...indirectly making her put on her thinking cap that if the King could pass a wrong judgment - she too as a little girl could have built a wrong opinion about Karthik.
Besides.. she has heard the conversation between Nallan/maid regarding Abhi's rotten character of telling lies plus the newspaper article on Abhi has been playing in her mind too. Abhirami shd start counting the days from now onwards for very soon she is not going to be in the good books of Indhu ...😉
