Hi everyone. I am a doctor myself....and I had the privilege of working under one of the top 10 psychiatric doctors of India.

The doc I worked with must feel hugely insulted by CR's take on psychiatric specialists. 😡 😡

The director needs a good kick.
Guys, psychiatrists are not so senseless and idiotic.

The dialogues spoken by the doc in today's episode speaks volumes of his low IQ on the subject.
He is only an actor doing his job.
In reality, if a doc gave such wonderful treatment...he would be put in jail!! 😲 😊

Madhu iam with you.. i really feel very angry on how they are giving importance to indhu's part ..i think they are exaggerrating indhu's part..When she is able to believe abi's so easily, can she listen to her mom..

Infact i found this anandam forum interesting and then started watching Anandam..but its sad to see the anandam serials is bringing kobam on all of us..but not anandam...

Madhu, I don't watch the serial...I followed up on dasa sir's updates only and happened to see today's episode as well. Part of the psychiatric counselling sessions were true to an extent...so the director did do some homework correctly. 😊 But you know, it is afterall a serial...so CR had to connect child psychiatry with Abirami. And that's where the storyline becomes hilariously unbelievable. Yes, doctors do ask children to draw pictures on paper to reveal their inner feelings....but the gun shooting scene I believe was CR's take of "fiction" child psychiatry. That was absurd and cinematic.

In paediatric psychiatry (age under 16), a group of doctors are needed for consultation. Or at least two doctors (not from the same hospital) are needed for referral opinion. And under no circumstances, must the doctor proceed further without the consent of the child's parents.

In today's episode...the doc (with long hair upto his shoulders...which is against the dress code for docs...he should be suspended from work!!) just picked up his mobile and dialled for Abirami to see the kid - he did not consult Indhu's mother first, did he? So Shanthi (Indhu's mother) has the legal rights to sue the doc in court!! But of course, such things cannot happen in serials....the story is about Abirami here, not about legal and ethical medical issues.

Well, this is CR's story....not mine.

Shanthi needs some lessons on how to bring up her child. First she calls Priya, who has no children, to help her because she cannot control her child. At least now she should exercise her right as a mother and take her child to another doctor. Incidentally, what kind of a doctor is this who takes decisions like this by himself?

Well, perhaps CR will redeem himself by showing that SKPD actually had the psychiatrist threatened - by saying perhaps that he would kill the shrink's family or something unless he does what abhi mamo asked him to do...

This tug-a-war between Karthik and the kutti satan won't last that long. The turning point could be from Abhirami's home itself. The child might hear Abhirami telling SKPD (can't think of anyone else) about her intentions to instil such hatred in the child's mind towards Karthik - just to take revenge and that she did it on purpose - to get even with the Shanti /RK family even though she knows its not the truth ie. kutti satan's appa died of an accident during the war and that Karthik had no hand in it and that she is happy to see the family split up. She might say that RK's family is responsible too for her being a vallavetti (hope the word is correctly said)😳 Of course Skpd will definately agree every word she says - like the saying goes " Like father like daughter (son)..!!😆

Therefore, no psychiatric's counselling is going to change the child's opinion about Karthik - it has to fall out from the horse's mouth "Dr (Psycho)Abhirami" for the child to get back to her old self again including loving Karthik as she always did.

If this were to happens I hope the girl is smart enough to ring up Priya, Shanti, Karthik or better still ACD to pick her up. Abhirami shd never know that the child knows the truth now....until she leaves the house for her own safety.
