Feb 15 (Fri):

Srinivasan and Veenu meet at a bar and are drinking. Veenu feels for Srini as he is alone eventhough he has family. Srini tells him that his son told his wife if he wants the husband she can forget about him and vice versa and his wife choose their son over him. Veebu says that Abirami is going all out to help SKPD eventhough she is not his daughter. Srini reveals that Januma who pretended to be his daughter arrested bim whereas his own daughter has been the cause for his arrest. Veenu doesn't understand and Srini tells him that Abi is SKPD's real daughter and Abi knows about this but SKPD doesn't know about it. Srini also tells Veenu that Abi had arranged for a PI to watch SKPD to save him from trouble but it had backfired because the PI had handed over the photograph and CD to the police and that has become a strong evidence for the police. Veenu tells Srini when SKPD comes to know that Abi is his daughter and they are in good terms, Abi may tell about Srini asking for her house and SKPD might torture him. Veennu tells Srini to meet SKPD and inform him that Abi is the one responsible for his present predicament, as this will in turn save Srini from SKPD's anger. Srini thanks Veenu for his advice.

Indu, Shanti and Karthik are decorating the house. Arjun walks in and is welcomed by RK and the other and they wish him Happy Anniversary. Arjun tells them not to make it a big issue but RK wants to celebrate and tells Karthik to go buy new clothes for them.

Anita is at the hospital attending to Rocky (the boy from the orphanage). The doctor tells her that Rocky had high fever and could not take it and that is why he is under medication. He tells her that they had given him sedative so that he can sleep and rest. The doctor tells her not to worry and that his test reports will be in, in the evening and for her to come back. Anita leaves. At home veryone is ready for the celebrations and prayers. RK calls Arjun and gives him a ring as present, his BIL a chain. Arjun asks why they are doing this and they say that it is their present and his time to give will come when Indu grows up. RK tells them to get prayers, and Shanti tells them to wait for Anita. RK asks where Anita has gone and gets angry. He asks Arjun where she is and why he is not asking her. Arjun tells RK that Anita has not done anything wrong. Shanti asks Arjun to call Anita but the phone is switched off. Anita returns and Shanti asks her where she had been and tells her to come and do prayers. RK blows his (empty)top and shouts at Anita saying she is coming and going as she wished as though she is in a hostel. Anita tells him that she had gone to the orphanage to see a sick boy and if that is wrong. Katrhik too tells his father that what Anita is doing is nothing bad but advises that she has to take care of the family first. He then tells her go freshen up before they start.

Srini goes to jail to visit SKPD. SKPD asks if Srini has come to gloat but Srini tells him e has come with some news and (to cut it short) tells him that Abirami was responsible for his arrest because she is employed the PI Rajadurai to take the photo and handed it over to the police. SKPD does not believe him because Abi is working very hard to get him out. Srini tells him that SKPD is too trusting and soon he would realize how stupid he had been. He says if he does not believe, he should investigate who Rajadurai is and how he came to take the incriminating photograph and leaves. SKPD thinks. THODARUM.

Feb 18th - Monday

Seenu confirms to SKPD that it is Abi who was responsible for SKPD's jail vaasam. SKPD refuses to believe him. Seenu asks SKPD to check up Abi's 'secret eye' link with Rajadurai😃 . SKPD wonders if Seenu has started 'vaal patha vaikara' velai - good promotion for Seenu from Naradar to Rakshasan😉 . Seenu says that if SKPD can disprove Seenu, he can be given the upside down suspension punishment😃.

Nallan is bringing the cello hot packs one after another (Could not verify if they were empty 😛 ) and Abi enters asking for PP. Nallan says PP is very depressed and refusing to have food. Abi finds PP in the garden and asks her to have food. PP refuses saying she has lived her life, but Abi has full life ahead of her ( aiyo Pecchi Paati - enge nu solla theriyalaiye ungalukku! either Keezhpakkam or Puzhal😃). She is worried whether SKPD wud come for pouring milk ( translated from paal ootha 😆). Abi assures her that she wud definitely take her to see SKPD and takes paati in (for her present milk???)

JC is in his room and now enters ACD with his usual "May I come in Sir?". JC asks ACD if he has prepared the list of possible contacts of SKPD. ACD says SKPD has links with many top level officers, business men and makkal pradhinidhigal. ACD adds even police officers under the control of JC have been loyal to SKPD. JC immediately feels the banana needle prick him and asks if ACD is referring to AC Shankar. When ACD nods, JC says initially he thought Shankar was interfering with ACD's work because of their personal animosity, but now he has understood that Shankar had been all along favouring SKPD. JC guarantees full support and asks ACD to proceed.

Priya visits a friend Devi come from US( Cheyaar kku Malayasia bore adichu pocchu - ippo US kku thavittaro?). Devi warmly invites her in and happy kusalam visarichufying. Priya enquires about her parents - Devi says amma gone to temple and appa to the advocate. Priya now wants to know how long Devi wud be in Chennai for which Devi answers permanently. Priya is shocked. Devi then goes on with her story of how her US husband and his family tortured her - her hubby already married and so on. Now her father has gone to the advocate for legal consultations. Devi says she heard about Priya from her mother and advises her not to let go of a good and understanding man like ACD from her life. Priya thinks ( ennatha yosichu kizhikaporala theriyalai😕😃)

Abi and PP going in car and PP asks Abi to drive slowly ( en Paati andha seat belt nu onnu irukke, adha poda ungalukku yaarum kathu tharalaiya? en indha kulungu kulungareenga?) Abi says there was no need for PP to go and visit SKPD in jail and that she wud anyway be bringing him out in bail in few days time. PP says she is going there only to show SKPD his daughter.

SKPD comes and sees Abi and PP. He looks sternly at her and asks her about secret eye, Rajadurai and her link. He accuses her of doing droham to him. She tries to explain that she employed Rajadurai only as a security guard ;but later when he brought the photo, she purchased it for 1 lakh rupees and tried to warn off SKPD , but he wouldn't listen to her then. SKPD says all his problems started only after he exhibited paasam feelings and now he doesnot believe any one including his mother. PP tries to interrupt, but she also becomes 'kizhavi' for him. Abi is shocked ( adhe expression than😆) freeze

19/2/08 tuesday:

SKPD tells CP and PP that he doesnot trust anyone and he suspects even his own mother's paasam and goes inside screaming he doesnot want anyone. CP sogam, PP azhugai. CP vows that she wud fulfill her promise to PP and bring her son out and then leave them ( enge enru sollalaiye, sariyana kalli! )

Babu visits AC Shankar's house. Mrs Shankar welcomes him and says Shankar has gone out.She then goes inside to get him coffee. Babu goes around the hall and examines the LCD TV, sofa set and other items.She brings coffee and Babu casually enquires about the TV , sofa set and Washing Machine (Sathiyama, I never saw the washing machine in the hall, oru velai Babu kku gnyana dhristiya irukkumo? )Mrs. Shankar says only her husband knows all the details. Babu leaves and the lady promptly calls up her husband. Shankar has a jolt and confirms that his wife had not said anything to Babu.

Shankar is in JC's room. JC accuses Shankar of accepting bribe in the form of electronic goods and display them in the living hall( aama roomla maraiva pottuka vendiyadhu dhane?) from SKPD and leaking out department secrets. JC says everyone displays photos , medals , trophies in the living hall, but instead you have displayed your 'droham to the department' ( especially the washing m/c 😃 )in your hall. Shankar says he has not done anything against the department. Since he suspected the link between SKPD's daughter and ACD , to find that out, he had got closer to SKPD and couldn't refuse the gifts SKPD gave him( innuma Jamuna vishayam Shankarukku theriyadhu? illaina why refer her as SKPD's daughter? 😕). JC is displeased with Shankar and his explanation and asks him to leave.

Shankar comes out and ange 'oru Agninatchathiram' - yaaru ACD and Shankar than ( but please donot ask me who is Karthik & who is Prabhu) they cross each other. pisu pisu - onnume nadakalai - appadiye poitaanga 😃

ACD in JC's room. JC says ACD must collect as much evidence as possible against SKPD and see that he doesnot get bail. JC asks ACD to follow up Murugesh murder case(either the creative heads must hv suddenly remembered him or they hv gone through Vinuthasri's list- I suspect the latter 😊 ) and catch 'othaikai' at the earliest ( araitha maavu). He wants ACD to make SKPD a thani maram. ACD leaves with a "I will sincerely follow my JC's orders" & a salute 😃.

Seenu and Vishnu again at the bar. Seenu is bragging about how he dropped the bombshell on SKPD. Vishnu wants to take credit for that. But Seenu calls Vishnu half boiled and tells him that once Vishnu had passed on that idea to Seenu, thereafter it became his copyright. He says he pottukuduthufied Abi like throwing a cowdung ball with phosporous inside ( idhu enna ? Chemistry majors please clarify- Suram please! 😃 ) and he is waiting for the fire to grow.

Jail premises. The prisoners are led back to their cells and one inmate stops in front of SKPD's cell( again another new rowdy? one more side track for the year long extension? 😭). He calls out to SKPD and gives an intro about himself- his name is 'Bomb' Murugan (ippadi than en kaadhile vizhundadhu). He was the contract killer in some Ashok Mehta -Auto Mahesh murder case. Murugan says while the finacier & family are living abroad happily, his family is suffering. SKPD promises help to his family.

Abi's house. Abi is reading bedtime story to a sleeping PP 😃, when a car enters the house. Out comes 'Vivasthai ketta' RK mama calling out 'Abirami... Abirami'. Abi comes out of the room and RK angrily asks her why she is supporting a criminal like SKPD? He goes on "What thagudhi SKPD has that Abi shud be fighting for his bail? (actuala ivalukku than ella thagudhiyum irukku - hasn't she committed enough murders- at par with SKPD)Abi replies 'thagudhikku illai, aana uravukkaga' ( aiyo aiyo engerndu than ippadi ellam vasanam ezhudaraangalo?). 'VK' RK asks 'urava?' and Abi says SKPD is her father. VK is shocked.

Feb 20th - Wednesday

Advocate and Abi. The lawyer says that SKPD's bail rehearing is coming up the next day. Abi is depressed that SKPD has no chance what with the photos and video evidence.But the lawyer convinces her that he has gone through a similar case that happened many years back in Bombay and with that reference he can get the bail. Abi gets interested and asks him about it, but the lawyer doesnot want to break the suspense(pisu pisu nu illadha pona sari than 😃) , instead tells her a story about how a small time mechanic identified & tightened a tiny 'loose' screw and rectified a broken down machine and demanded Rs. 1 lac for that (indha lawyer endha loosoda screwa tight panna poraro theriyalaiye!!). PP comes wiping her eyes and lawyer promises her that son wud come out the next day.

Rocky is in hospital and the doctor is examining him. Rocky longs for the mother(Anita). Doc calls up Anita who is giving coffee to RK. The doc informs her that Rocky can be discharged now. Rocky wants to speak to her , but Anita hesitates and says she wud come in person later and talk to him. Rocky is sad, the doctor tries to cheer him up. Rocky says the nurses are not treating him with love. The doctor glares at the nurse and leaves. The nurse jumps on Rocky and comments about him to another nurse ( indha professionaiye kevala paduthitaangappa 😕 ).

Shanthi is driving and Indu is singing a movie song ( vera nalla paattu kidaikalaiya?) and Shanthi teasing her and suddenly Rocky comes in front of their car. Shanthi brakes suddenly, gets down from the car and questions him. Rocky gives the address of his orphange and Shanthi takes him there. Meanwhile Anita comes to the hospital to find Rocky is gone.The doctor is helpless. Staff from orphange comes and scolds the doctor for the hospital's irresponsibility and decides to make a police complaint.

Shanthi leaves Rocky at the orphanage and takes leave immediately as she has some urgent work (ofcourse angeye wait panni, Anita vai parthutta appuram kadhaiyai eppadi oru varusham neetradhu?😡). The orphange attender informs the lady at the hospital who is writing the complaint about Rocky's safe return. She comes back with Anita to the orphange.

Kanakku's house. His wife back at the tulasi maadam area washing utensils. Kanakku gets angry and asks her not to do any kind of work in that place. She wonders aloud why kanakku is behaving like a bootham and if he has hidden gold underneath. Kanakku hides his expression and warns her again and leaves for the court.

At the court , the public prosecutor gives his arguments ; naduvile oru objection, objection overruled 😃. Abi and Kanakku are sitting side by side, exchanging worried looks and ACD is also there. The judge takes his notes. Freeze on SKPD.

sigh - appada mudinjidhu kottaaaaaaaaavi episode

😃Feb 21^st , Thursday

I missed the beginning of the episode which is the court scene continuation where the defense lawyer has put forth his argument –

Abi looks a bit happy and the judge adjourns the case for later rehearing. It is clear the judge has not rejected the bail plea. ACD and JC are outside the court and they are discussing the trial. ACD says he thought, with the strong photo/video evidence, the bail application would have been rejected and even if the defense lawyer had claimed the pictures and video were fake, the police could have brought in the forensic experts, but the clever lawyer diverted the case bringing in the fear factor ( looks as if the lawyer argued that SKPD was threatened by Joe ). JC is also concerned that at this rate , it may not be a surprise if SKPD is out of jail by the next hearing.

Abi returns home in a blue colour car ( vera paint adichittalo?) and goes to Pecchi paati who is reading the 'thalaigani' book. Abi looks relieved , but PP is not happy. But Abi convinces her that since the judge had adjourned, that itself is a small victory and SKPD wud definitely get bail soon. She also says she would obtain Charu's contact address in Malaysia and they would all be a very happy family😃.

Abi goes to Charu's office and into Priya's cabin. "utkaralaama?" ( vendaamnu sonnalum, utkara than pore! appuram edhukku vettiya indha kelvi?😃) Priya gives her usual 'sidu sidu' look. ( emma Priya ! ACD ai parthalum adhe parvai, Abiyai parthalum adhe parvai. Idhu than onnoda trade mark parvaiya?ennamo po!😕 ) She asks Abi to sit down. Abi asks for Charu's address. Priya refuses to give her the information saying Charu did not want Abi to contact her. Abi argues that Charu must have said like that in a bad mood, but now she would not do so. Priya says she doesn't take into account Charu's moods, but only obeys her orders. Abi persists and asks atleast for the email id of Charu. Priya refuses and shows her the way out. Abi ," indha seetula irukarene aadadhe, appurama vishayam therinja ingeye nee irukka mudiyadhu" ( appada pazhaya Abi vandhutta , savaal, mirattal😃 – summa noi noi nu kanna kasakittu, soga paarvai partha nallava irukku?😛)

RK's house- Omni is cooking and Anita is getting ready to go outside and calls out to Omni "Anni poittu varen." Before Omni comes out of kitchen, Anita goes into her room for some reason. Omni looks for Anita in the hall and shows her usual lip – suzzhippu😃. Now Priya comes in her scooty. She enters the house and tells Omni about Abi's visit ( appadiye rendu perum kitchenla pona madiri gnyabagam.) Omni is happy with Priya's refusal . She comments that Abi can't stand people being happy . Now comes RK calling out for Anita. Omni says Anita has gone out. RK as usual, scolds Anita and says he gave her a file that morning and ask Shanthi to bring it from Anita's room.( Now coming to my reference to hall , kitchen , Anita's room etc. Omni didn't see Anita going out. We see Anita going towards her room, before Omni came out of kitchen. Priya came immediately , but she didn't see her either. They were hardly in the kitchen when RK came calling out, appo Anita eppadi veliye pona? Window vazhiya poi iruppalo? Episodela urupadiya endha vishayamum illadhadhala naan ippo indha researchla erangitten😆 ) Shanthi checks the files from Anita's cupboard and sees Rocki's ( 'y' illai 'i' than ) medical report and goes through it. Shanthi finds 'A.Anita' against 'parent/guartian' ( 't' than, 'd' illai). Flashes of Rocki - Shanthi . Shanthikku shock – (idhula enna irukku shock aaradhukku? Even though Anita didn't mention Rocki's name, she had told her family about the hospital trip, on her wedding day.)

Rocki is sitting sadly and refusing to play with the other boys. Anita comes in a call taxi and Rocki is all smiles and chats with her happily. He says that his teacher told him paati- vadai -kaaka -nari kadhai ( Giri is crying😭…. CR copied her bedtime story to Kams). Shanthi also comes to the ashram spying on Anita and hides behind a tree😡. Anita asks which character Rocki likes best – kaaka , nari etc and the boy promptly answers 'nari' – adhu thane clevera vadaiyai pidungichu!!😃 Anita corrects him saying that it is not right to take others property and the boy agrees.( Bon, Roja akka and others, now it is clear how CR is going to prolong Anandham for not one year, but many more years – no dearth of children's books – naama ellarum vaiyile viral vecchittu , allow CR to garland our ears!!!!😳)

Shanthi wonders 'enna indha payan ithanai amma solran?' - freeze

Giri, watched the first part. The defense
lawyer tries to break the photo evidence
by saying that if the police are trying
to indict SKPD with just a photo with Joe,
how come RK, who employed Joe for over
4 months and gave him asylum was let free??
He goes on to say that some senior police
officers are threatening SKPD to accept
the crimes he has not committed. He also
says that SKPD does a lot of charitable
acts and ACD has been educated by his trust
only. He then says that Joe threatened SKPD
and demanded money. As SKPD was planning to
complain to the police Joe died in an
encounter. He says that this case has
no basis and so SKPD should be freed.

Friday feb 22:

Shanthi is sitting on the sofa looking into space - flashes of Anita and Rocki. RK enters and asks what is the matter? She says 'alaichal'. (naan veliye alainjittu vandhal, nalla paduthu thoonguven.. ippadiye vittatha parthuttu irukka mudiyuma? 😛 ) RK now wants to know about Shanthi's alaichal, but before that Abi calls him and says she wants Charu's contact details from 'avar' 😃 ( enna oru padhibakthi??). RK promises he would get the info from Madhan and pass it on to her. Solli veccha madiri ,Madhan comes there and RK asks him about Charu without mentioning Abi's name. Madhan gets suspicious and says Abi is trying to trouble Charu and that she had already tried for the information thro' Priya and failed and now she is using RK. Madhan advises RK not to lose Charu's trust. RK is speechless.

Jail premises - SKPD jollya newspaper vaachittu irukkaru, others are working. Vedi (bomb) Murugan comes to SKPD and tells him, he might be released earlier for good conduct. He says he plans to leave all adithadi work and lead a reformed life. SKPD warns him that it is impossible for an ex-prisoner to find a decent job and asks him to contact kanakku and get work in the harbour. 'Vedi' gets emotional and falls at SKPD. SKPD says once he comes out he would discuss other plans. (nallavana maara vida maateengala da? 😡 😃 )

ACD and JC are discussing something - muted dialogues. Jamuna comes in her uniform and salutes them. She has come to take leave. JC wishes her , aana indha 'karumame kannayinaar' ACD 😡 questions her if she found out something about the gold biscuits after the raid. Jamuna says she couldn't. JC himself can't take this 😆 😆 and says "Durai, idhu too much a illai, paavam avanga kalyana ninaivugala iruppanga 👏.Aana andha loosu ACD(ennai niraya peru thitta poranganu theriyum 😃, still indha stiff attitude nala than ACD kkum ,Priya kkum athanai kashtam 😉)says that Joe might have given the gold biscuits to SKPD through Sivaraman and later on some dealing could have misfired and as a result Sivaraman was bumped off. Jamuna says it is possible that Kanakku may have some information.She leaves and JC says "Durai" and ACD says that he will take care.

Abi is waiting for someone and Shankar jeep passes by. She calls out and he stops the jeep some distance away and walks to her. Abi asks him why is he pretending like this, when he himself had asked her to wait there? Shankar says he is being framed in the department and doesnot want a suspension. He is all praise for the defense lawyer who 'kizhichu thoranam kattified' ACD 😃. Abi seeks his help for SKPD. Shankar says he would do what he can discreetly and he leaves.

Kanakku's house- he informs his wife that he is going out. Indra suggests he look for some other honest work and not to depend on SKPD anymore. Kanakku angrily retorts and comes out of the house only to be taken away by Inspector Siddique. Siddique leaves Kanakku in the interrogation room where ACD enters. Siddique is asked to leave. ACD , Eashwar Kannakku vai nijamave andha Parameshwarana partharo ennamo theriyalai - 2 pradhakshinam and 1 appradakshinam 😆 😆 , looks at his watch and leaves kanakku alone. Kanakku is bewildered. After sometime ACD comes in, again looks at his watch and asks kanakku to leave. Kanakku leaves muttering to himself and ACD tells a disappointed Siddique "U donot know about this silent treatment."( aama... illaina mattum ivanga perisa kelvi kettu, Kanakku unmai sollida pora madiri 😡. Silent treatmento, sattham potta treatmento, saathara treatmento , sentiment treatmento.. innum oru varusham Kanakku kitterndu oru unmaiyum varadhu 😆 )

Vedi Murugan is being released and he stops in front of SKPD's cell and informs him so. SKPD signals to him and Vedi acknowledges. Flashes of Jamuna handcuffing SKPD and giving invitation cards. SKPD has a cruel smile on his face - freeze ( aiyo vedi murugan than andha 'kizhattu maamano'? 😆)

Viji, thanks for the update. I typed today's episode as I had promised rojakka that I will do it. But after I came here to post it, I find out that you had already posted it.
Anyway, I am posting what I typed out.

Anandham Feb 26th.(Tuesday)

Maappillai Shot by Vedi murugan.

(Friends, I am writing from what I saw. As there was snow on the dish, I got an error message. So, I sent out my hubby in a foot of snow to the back of our yard to clear the snow from the dish. Friends can fill in what I missed. Thanks in advance.)

ACd seems to be giving a letter to Jammu and Jammu is all touched. I guessed from the dialogues later that it was promotion order from the police dept to Jammu. Jammu is promoted as Inspector. ACD tells her that it is a gift from the dept for her wedding and wishes her good luck. Her parents are so proud of her.
(Jammu, idhu thaan correct time. Tell ACD, "thanks annaa". So that all our IF friends will be releived that Priya will marry ACD without any jealousy. piLLaiyaarappaa, 108 coconuts for you from IF. )
Gunman targetting. MaappiLLai arrives in a car. Jammu is seen walking towards maappillai and her parents take arthi of Jammu and maappillai. (Hmm, surprising..How come thay take arthi of both standing together before wedding ceremony? )
Now only the camera plays. No dialogues.
ACD, Karthik and Indhiran watch arthi ceremony with all smiles.
Visualise this:
Shots of MeLam playing, Arthi, Face of Jammu, Face of maappillai, gunman targetting, Mirundhangam, targetting jammu, targetting maaps, pulling trigger slowly... This goes on for a while and finally dumeel... maaps is shot in the chest and he falls down. Vedi is a proffessional shooter. He didn't waste any bullet. Jammu yells "ayyo". ACD, Karthik are shocked, Vedi comes out of hiding and our hero ACD spots him. "yeii, paarunga suttuttu odraan. Babu, call an ambulance, karthik, vaanga ennoda" and starts running...
Now ACD and Karthik run, jump, run, jump and run for sometime with the camera showing a crying jammu and crying parents, Indhiran's face.
Again ACD, Karthik and Babu are all running together. Now our hero makes a smart move and instructs them to go in separate directions. (Odinaargal, odinaargal, kunnoorin ellaaikke odinaargal. enna prayojanam? )Acd gets down a lot of steps chasing vedi murugan. Vedi throws the gun in the tea plants and runs. At one point, he hides just below ACD but what else is new? As usual, vedi makes a great escape. All 3 chasers meet at one pint. ACD asks, "Karthik ennaachu?" Both karthik and Babu reply,"kidaikkale, sir."
ACD reports to JC. JC is all excited and asks how the marriage went and if jammu is happy with the promotion etc. ACD is speechless and says," epdi solradhunne theriyalai. sorry sir. "
Major sundhar rajan: "Durai, anything wrong?"
Durai informs JC of the shooting and JC asks if maaps was ok and ACD replies he doesn't know about that. He reports that he chased vedi murugan but he escaped. JC orders him to be careful and call for an ambulance and get help from the local police.
JC asks ACD to keep reporting of the happenings there.
Ambulance and the local police arrive. The doctor checks maaps and pronounces that he is dead. The body is taken in the ambulance while Jammu and the parents watch, crying. It was so touching to see Jammu running behind the ambulance for a while. (hmmm...sigh...ipdi aayiduche...)
Break..

(Not a lot of dialogues here. Only camera playing and soga music playing).
Shot of moon, then a sad jammu. Alternate scenes of moon and jammu. Jammu goes inside her room and sits infront of the mirror. She throws all the gifts in despair, and finds a boquet with a Gift tag. She sits down and reads it. It reads..VaazhththukkaLudan, SKPD. Flashback of Jammu handing the invitation to SKPD.
