OK, folks, so the cat is finally out of the bag 😳 I had intended making a full disclosure this evening but Atina preempted me! Don't blame me for putting up the photo. It was your idol's idea to just cause a bit of a buzz in IF ;-) Anyway, I had a very brief meeting with a very busy SS and some of the other cast members plus the great Cheyar Ravi. (CR came across as so modest and humble that I had no heart to repeat some of the nasty things we have been saying in these pages about him!)

I have been instructed to convey SS's best wishes to all IFians and his sincere apologies for not being able to log in or reply to all email messages. I will post some photos later but for now the "new lady boss" has decided to crawl back into her shell of anonymity; only photos of the real cast will be posted ;-)

Caryn, my namesake, apologies accepted. I know you, like most others, must have been irritated by the fact that there was yet another new character. 😃

Bon, any policeman/woman's spouse will definitely know that private life and public life does not mix. My uncle was in police and 90% of what he is doing during duty is unknown by my aunty. My aunty knows her husband's love for uniform, and she trusts him implicity. I agree with ACD. It is for Priya's sake and safety that he cannot reveal some of the things. I have to diagree with you here. Sorry

Priya needs to change not ACD.

Caryn...not only ACD but any man will find it difficult to live with a person like Priya if she gets petty like this. She expects ACD to tell her everything including what he does in office though she doesn't say it many words. He is a high ranking officer and things have to be kept P& C....idhu teriyati how could she ever make a perfect Mrs. ACD.???..😉

Anyway, let us hope that she gets a change of heart and accepts ACD including his profession and prove us wrong that she does make a good wife after all.....making us kari-poosaran on our faces.!!😳.....😆😆

Caryn.....she will definitely change for the viewers sake and I am sure they don't want to show us both ACD and Priya going on their separate ways..😕

Sharing some trivia that I picked up. The artiste who plays SKPD's Kanakku -- forgot his name -- is a part-time English teacher! And, the artiste who plays the JC Vincent character -- the very genial Afsar Babu -- is a retired Deputy Commissioner, who occasionally provides professional advice on police matters to the director. Watch out for two upcoming movies he will be appearing in, including an English movie shot in Malaysia!

Abhirami will never change and Charu knows that for sure. Imagine a mum wanting to see her lost daughter 30yrs ago is adamant not to have anything to do with her....very sad indeed. SKPD has to pay for his crime there is no 2 ways about it. Abhirami is no exception either... 😊

I don't know about the Jamuna character's sincerity and dedication. She was too much of a smart alec who went beyond her brief from ACD. Among other things, she once interfered when the dead Murugesh's wife appeared in search of her husband. Jamuna tried to do social service and call the police on behalf of Murugesh's wife. Foolhardy behaviour -- when her brief was just to observe SKPD and not to do anything that could potentially jeopardise her position. She also did other foolhardy things like visit Charulatha to offer commiseration -- and had to later cover up by making up excuses. And, she needlessly antagonised Abhirami with her sarcastic remarks, which again is cavalier behaviour for an officer operating under cover. Now, in recent episodes, she shows herself to be overly sentimental, going to the extent of inviting SKPD to her wedding and courting trouble.

Gosh, if this Jamuna character turns out to be the new woman in ACD's life, she would be a real pain ... (Notice that there are plenty of hints from the discussion at JC's office that Jamuna's marriage to her betrothed may not take place after all owing to some disaster that awaits the groom.) Pairing off two strong-willed police officers -- ACD and Jamuna -- is a sure recipe for disaster. (sorry, Jagdu. I know how smitten you are by Jamuna 😃

All that she has been doing is giving invitation cards to criminals like SKPD and I wonder why she left out Kandhuvetti, Kanakku and Othaikai 😕 ; too senti'mental' for a police officer.

Yes, folks. Apparently what Sasa reported is true. The serial will run for another year or so -- at the Station's request. I suspect it is due to the war of the television networks. So be prepared for more twists and turns.

Perhaps IFians should suggest new storylines/threads. I am referring to providing constructive suggestions. Seriously. Giri, how about putting on your thinking hat and penning an episode or two (serious ones) using new storylines.
