TUESDAY UPDATE ANANDAM

ANANDAM 4th July
At the police conference strategy to catch Govindan is chalked out in detail as it is a temple no untoward incident should happen. Dada and his men work out their strategy. Dada warns kandu vaddi that he or his friends should be nowhere near the place. Police in mufti watch Govindan's wife buy flowers at the entrance and looking around enters the shrine and prays. Govindan with a towel wrapped round his face watches his wife praying. Just then a van arrives and some men get down. A big vessel full of prasadam to be distributed is lifted out of the van. The leaf plates are filled with prasadam are being distributed. People throng for the prasadam. In confusion this Govindan is caught by Dada's men. He is shoved into the van and the van speeds away. Police in mufti realise that they have been outwitted. Dorai chases the van other police cars also give a chase. Inside the van Govindan is attacked by four men. As the police cars surround the van Govindan is pushed out and a volley of bullets pumped into him. The men run for their lives. Dorai sends the wounded Govindan to the hospital and gives a chase to catch the men. He finds a revolver. He picks it up with a hand kerchief. As Govindan is taken into the hospital reporters throng to get news. Dorai arrives gives the reporters the outline of the incident. Govindan's wife and son rush into the hospital crying one reporter asks how Dorai failed. Dorai says he is a human being and these things happen. Someone asks if Divya murder case will be closed. Dorai hurries inside the hospital.

July 5, 2006 - Wednesday updt

ACD pauses for a moment before answering to a reporter's question that with Govindan's death, is the divya murder case closed? ACD says, no, it is very much open..and goes in.
Inside the mortuary, Govindan's wife with son is lamenting about his death and tells ACD that here her husband was, coming in to surrender when those padupaavis finished him. ACD is all choked up looking at them and pats the boy's head.
He then instructs another policeman to stay and finish the formalities.

round table conference: The police commissioner calls ACD and gives him left and right for bungling the operation. He tells him that ACD is known as the encounter-man and it would have been better if the ACD himself had killed Govindan in an encounter. but they have let a gang do the job. and what does this speak of police efficiency? and there is some spy internal who spilled the beans abt the secret operation. ACD doesn't have any answers to that and hangs his head down in shame.

Arjun and Shanthi come in a car towards ACD office and both wonder why they have been asked to come. Once there, ACD asks them if they had told/discussed abt nabbing Govindan to anyone. He accuses Arjun of letting the secret out since he was in possession of the tape. Arjun tells him that apart from Shanthi, he has not even discussed the matter even with his wife and had handed the tape to the police even then. Shanthi also says she knew the importance of this sting and so, kept mum. They are let go.

Abhi is worried and KVK comes talks to her that all is fine now that Govindan is dead and she has to shell out some more money. Abhi is real upset abt that.

ACD enquires the 3 police inspectors who;were within the perimeter to nab Govindan the other day in mufti. He asks them if they talked about this to any others outside and all 3 answer in the negative. He then asks how else did this matter get to the ears of the evil gang? he then asks what do they think abt the JC and all are shocked.

ACD keeps pummelling at a sandbag, his mind going back to when the AC accused him of botching up the operation..he keeps wondering who could the mole be.

In a remote beach location, they show a shoe clad feet making progress towards KVK and his big boss. Anandam's director's concept of boss-big boss happens to be, the bigger the boss, bigger is going to be his kurta...and figure.
This pair of feet belongs to none other than JC's car driver and he is praised for his valiant efforts in giving them the news abt Govindan's location and is rewarded with a briefcase full of cash..and a koodai full of era, karuvaadu and the likes for feast. Big Kurta also tells him that drinks will be supplied to his house - door delivery in the evening..he also promises him that other such small jobs will be sent along the driver's way to earn more money. Driver assures that no one can find his role in all these matters and walks away..I thought his karuvaadu was going to explode but no such thing happened.

JC's house: painters are outside painting the house and JC is supervising. it seems to be a moderate house; his driver comes (walks) and invites JC for his house's grahapravesam...JC congratulates him and tells him that frankly, he cannot come to Kanyakumari where the house is being built..(what is with this kanyakumari business? the promoter sent abhirami there and even in the previous nithyanandam's 'varam', the heroine came from kanyakumari...)and if and when he comes there for job reasons, he will surely stop by. ACD comes there and JC introduces the driver. The driver sheepishly says he meant to come personally to ACD's office to invite him, but now that he is here, and hands him an invite. ACD thanks him and the driver leaves. ACD wonders that he is building his own house.

One of the painters comes near the JC and says he is out of paint and other supplies and gives him a list. JC asks how much it would cost and when he hears Rs.4000, he says the house is just rented one and he is just sprucing it up to keep it good and so spending so much is not viable; hands him 3000 and asks him to do what comes for that. ACD observes this and goes inside with JC. The sit down and JC asks how far is the investigation in finding out who leaked Govindan matter. ACD says he has enquired all but one...and looks pointedly at JC.

Shyam & uma move in with abhirami, & uma requests RK to use their existing house as a guest house for people working in their bangalore factory

AC & kaidhi jeevan

AC Durai investigates about the person whose fingerprint matched. He then goes to the jail cell to meet the prisoner jeevan. The prisoner at first is starring at AC durai, & then he smooth talks encounter durai. AC does not give in and tells him that he does not like the prisoner, and AC asks how come you do double action, you are inside the prison & at the same time you come out and murder people. Prisoner pretends that nothing like that has happened & keeps on buttering AC durai, by praising. AC says if you leap 10 feet, i will leap 20 feet. He warns the kaidhi and says that his bullet has this guys name written on it & leaves.
The jailer of this prison cell goes and meets the prisoner jeevan & tells him that if only jeevan had not lost the gun after the murder, there would not be a investigation now. so the jailer and jeevan are partners in crime. Anyway since the prison record says that he was in prison at the time of the murder, jeevan is safe.

Kandhu & co

A josiar comes and tells kandhu that he has glorious times ahead of him, at that time his boss, anna, tells him about AC's visit to the jail to meet jeevan, and warns kandhu to be careful. Kandhu is thinking

Shyam & Uma

Abhirami is making breakfast, for the entire family shyam gets ready to leave, when the maid asks him to eat breakfast and go, uma goes to the kitchen and watches a very homely abhirami & is moved. Abhirami is making roti & potato sabji & she herself serves uma & shyam. uma appreciates it, but shyam does not say anything. he goes to wash his hands and keeps eyeing a very sweet abhirami serving uma

AC durai has suspicion on the jailer in whose jail kaidhi jeevan resides

AC durai seeks the ACP mahesh's help(the one who went inside in the document forgery case) to track the events of kAidhi jeevan & the jailer. Mahesh is only too willing to help, just to keep his manasAtchi on the right track.

Uma­am go to ramya's house for lunch, where uma is the only one who seems to have a very good opinion about abhirami, & the rest of the gang are very suspicious

Shanthi calls uma at home(abhirami's home) and requests uma & shyam to join her in the temple the following day to put thirumangalyam for Amman as shanthi had prayed if uma­am's wedding took place well she will do that offering. Abhirami is evesdropping, & uma unaware of abhirami being behind her, tells shanthi that she will let shyam know once he gets back from work and they will join her. NOw abhirami is her showing shades of green again & master planning her next move, which obviously is to stop uma ­am from joining shanthi the next day.

She executes her plan perfectly by being on the phone acting stressed and yelling at some work people, just when shyam enters the house, and she finally cons shyam into going with her the next day to the company with her to see the situation. Shyam agress, & uma who is listening on this conversation, decides not to speak about her conversation with shanthi to shyam, at that moment.

Next morning, shyam leaves with abhirami, who has some stupid taunting comments that if they ahve plans she can go alone,the newlyweds assure there is no such thing, so shyam drives abhirami to her work, and on theway abhi calls shanthi and discreetly lets shanthi know that shyam is with her.

Abhirami & shyam enter abhirami's work all are stunned, finally they show a happy srini walking in and has a big smile seeing abhirami, and suddenly is face gets all twisted as he sees shyam behind abhirami, they finish off with a good scene where an angry shyam and abhirami walk closer to srini on the opposite side

Srini is unhappy about abhirami bringing shyam back to work. Abhirami says she will do what she thinks is right, srini is very upset and fumes saying that he will not interfere hencforth in abhirami's business

AC durai discusses with his senior about how kaidhi jeevan has an contact outside & is in being protected under the shades of the jailer. AC durai says jeevan will have to get in touch with his outside contact who ishelping them & also informs that he will be watching our man kandhu under a microscope so to speak.

Abhirami meets kandhu in the road, as summoned by him. Kandhu's eloborates about how AC Durai has found who shot govindan. Abhirami is shocked. KAndhu says how the AC got hold of the gun that shot govindan. NOw abhirami panicks. Kandhu says he called her to just inform her. Abhirami decides to keep kandhu at a distance.

Uma has the envelope that her dad gave her as a kalyana seedhanam, whihc he asked her to open only when abhirami crosses her limits. she thens puts it back

uma is packing lunch, when abhirami comes down and asks who is the lunch for, uma says it is for 3-4 people tiffin as he has been working all night. The phone rings at that moment, and the manager calls, and asks abhirami to come for an emergency meeting at 11 in the morning. ABHIRAMI is shocked. Srini also gets a call for the emergency meeting.

Srini calls abhirami & tries to find out what is happening, but abhirami also cuts him off.

The board meeting gets on the way. Shyam asks everyone to read the files in front of them, to find out why they have this emergency meeting. Shyam starts off with a pep lecture, & then comes to the point, where in he states the companies accounts. Shyam starts to asks questions, & wants only those who are asked questions to answer. He asks about how the taramani company has gone in a loss, someone answers, then shyam states theb reason for the loss, that we had prepared fake documents and made 3 copies were made & 3 bank loans achieved, but only one was used for the loan & the other 2 went to some ones personal account

Update for FridayJul.21

Scene 1: Starts with Raji freaking out seeing Balaji's photo and the news that he passed away in Kashmir. RK and Raji will go to Shanti's house, she will be shocked to see the news and will be worried about Karthik. RK and Shanthi will go to military office to get details about him.

Scene 2: Uma and Shyam will be eating breakfast and Abi will be serving them. Uma will look at Abi with bakthi and pasam will ask her to join them, then the servent will tell them that Abi is fasting because it is full moonday. Abi will give explanation for her viratham that the house was very happy before with all the
people, somebody will be always eating(RK family sapathu ramargal) and now nobody is there, and she cannot become mother, so she wants to become athai(tomorrow uma will fall on Abi's feet with asathu
siripu, i guess)soon. Uma and shyam will look as they really care.

Scene 3: RK family people including kanamalponna Swathi waiting for Shanthi and RK. They will come and tell that no information about karthik. Shanthi will be sitting in her house watching TV. Shyam and Uma come there and still no information about karthik, camera
freezes in shanthi's sad face.

24th jul.monday brief update

nothing happened. still searching for karthik. shanthi's village people will be worried about karthik, and her mama will go to shanthi's house. ACD will come to jail and will meet ex.AC mahesh, they will fight and that kaidi jeevan will listen to everything.
Abirami will call shanthi and talk really seet and concerned, but shanthi will not beleive. karthik from kashmir will try to call shanthi, but she will not pickup the phone thinking it is abirami again. the phone will be ringing...

Karthik keeps attempting to call shanthi, who does not pick up thinking it is abhirami, but shanthis mama comes in time and picks up the phone. They find out about karthik being alive, & shanthi & karthik have a senti talk, indu speaks to karthik, & karthik asks her to represent them at balajis house.

Karthik calls RK & co & requests everyone to go to balaji's house. At the bike showroom, arjun & co honor balaji'd photo. All the coworkers want to participate in balaji;s last rites, so they all leave.

Shanthi remembers her momennts with balaji, she gives lecture about relationship to mama & tells her how though balaji was a stranger, he had become a family member.

Srini calls abhirami to remind her about not taking any action against him. Abhirami says she will take care of the partnership deal. He gives her warning that he will come as a partner only on the following monday, if that does not happen,he will send a letter to uma stating how abhirami was behind burning her dad's bangalore factory.
Abhirami is in a fix.

Shanthi's mama and daughter will be in a auto which is broken down and the driver is trying to fix it. They get bored waiting and decide to take another auto. The auto driver tells them to pay the whole deal when they have come just quater of the distance and the auto breaks down. They both start to fight and ACD happens to be going that way. He stops and asks about the commotion, and mama recognises him and says you are durai right vijay's friend.(Guys, Vijay is shanthi's first husband) He says yes and asks about vijay, mama tells the whole nine yards....and introduces indu as his daughter...ACD is all unhappy...then drops them home and meets AAS and tells her to have strength and karthik will be back. Durai gets introduced to AAS as vijay's friend and AAS is all lost in thoughts, her mama says he is sorry if he got her depressed reminding her the old times.

Cheennu is ready to go out when a courier guy stops him and asks for raj gautham, he says he doesnt live here anymore and he is not a smart guy to leave a forwarding address. So the courier guy asks him to help him out with it and cheennu gives him the new address. Ramya and Raj gautham are in their house when this courier comes and raj gets disturbed as he has got a bank notice telling him to pay all the dues for the loan taken,which he is in default. Rajgautham is all confused as he doesnt know anything about it.(I guess its cheennu's work again, i wonder what he is doing with all the money he is getting as commission, 4.5 crores off abhirami industries etc.,)So ramya tells him to consult with madan's wife who works in the bank.

In the jail, ACM gives supari to jeevan to kill ACD. Jeevan makes the necessary plans to do it. He says he is safe as far as he is in this jail and jailer is there for him. He says get the money to my wife and i will deal with the rest. Jeevan says he is special thats why he eats biriyani everyday and ACM and everybody else eats jail food and blah blah....so he gets to work by sketching a plan to finish ACD.
