Anandam Updates September 05

totally crazy thing madan did.. Abhirami deserves all the wealth.. she is so clever - the rest of the gang are SO STUPID.
Madan - Silly to go and slap
Kartik - Sillyl to have blurted out the truth instead of working as if he didnt' know anything and trying to undo the damage done by abhirami
Shanti - to leave at such a CRUCIAL moment - all that she has done for the family boils down to nothing - as Abhirami has won - she owns everything - so what did Shanti manage to do - NOTHING.. and now when she can do something - she left town.. aiyoo..

Anyway - now that RK knows.. i think yesterday's scene was handled quite well - it would have been terrible if RK had gotten angry and hit Abhirami and then he would end up in Jail too...

They are trying to make us think that RK is contemplating suicide.. i do hope the director is not NUTS to kill RK now... they should show how RK works with his sons and shanti to get back everything...

anyway - I have a feeling that if hte director doesnt kill rk (fingers crossed).. the shanti going away episode must have been doen so that now he can go to the village and beg her forgiveness and bring her back to madras...

lets see how it goes.. we have to hope that RK is alive and well today!!

Oh okay...

most of the epiosode was on how they were frantically trying to contact RK in US. They finally reach him on the phone and tell him to come as soon as possible. He says he will and he turns up one day earlier.

Abhirami is standing by her father's photo talking to shyam and telling him in nutshell what she did to the family - that she was the one who destroyed Shanti, how she took all the property and how RK was so stupid that he believed her.

When she is saying this, RK arrives adn hears most of it. He yells "Abhirami" and stares at her in shock. Abhirami and shyam are a bit disconcerted but dont say anything. RK says, i trusted you so much. I earned all this property myself. I am been given many titles such as businessman, entrepreuner and now you have given me the title of "Muttal". And he says in a broken voice 'naalairu' and goes off to the beach with his head down.

They show him taking off his shoes and glasses and sitting and thinking. They show him remembering various things with Abhirami - how he made her the MD, how she tore the legal documents shyam prepared to complain against Madan etc etc. Then he leaves the shoes adn glasses and walks towards the water. He goes until ankle depth water and they end the episode showing the shoes and glasses on the sand.

Thanks for the update. Here is the friday episode. No signs of what happened to RK. The gumbal at Arjun's house came to know that RK had come a day earlier and he went to to his house (Currently Abhirami's) and knew everything but he is missing now. Everyone is shocked and wondering what would have happened to him

At srinivasan;s house, his wife happen to hear all that Abhirami, Srinivasan and Ramya discuss. She now knew the real color of Abhirami and Ramya but she utters no word as usual.

Mostly a boring episode. Let us see today what happens to RK.

Sept 14th Update from US

This is the first time that Im posting an update, so pls bear with me

- Arjun & Dinesh meet with the Lawyer(Charuhasan), & asked him to help him with the search for RK. The Lawyer asks them to pursue their search & also assures them that he will help them, as he has already contacted his friends in Delhi via email

- In the meantime Srini goes and meets Abhirami, who is leaving to go to the temple & asks her to settle his share for helping her. Abhirami tells him that she really wants to do that, but with RK missing & the cops watching her, she thinks it is not a very appropriate time to split his share now.

- Abhirami is heading for the temple, and there Raji is already praying to the dieties. When Raji is done praying Abhirami spots her and goes and talks to her in her usual icy way, saying how is her mamiar doing, and asks Raji not to worry, as her Thali balam is very strong so the cowardly mama would surely be alive and hiding somewhere. AT this Raji gets very wild and raises her hand to slap her and says who do u call a coward, Abhirami has her wicked smile, and says that I dont want mama to die, as he has to come back and pay more for being the cause of her dad's death. At this Raji is very wild and says that I tell you now that RK will come back and walk with his head high, which will be the downfall of abhirami, and she curses saying that she will Azhingify, at the same instance the Temple bell rings.

- Abhirami is back at her office pacing up and down and shyam walks in. She gets all mad at him for coming late, for which he says that he had togo out on office work only. He asks her what is bothering her as hethinks something is in her mind other than his late coming. Abhirami narrates the incidences iwth Madan , rohini(from yesterdays episode),Srini & Raji, & says that she is really really tensed. Shyam asks her to calm down as this restless in a sign of weak persons, & for whihc raji says that she gets angry and tensed very easily these days. Shyam also warns her from using the Murti incidence againt Srini, as that will only affect their sisters life. Finally Shyam suggests that Abhirami get her health checked. The screen freezes on Abhirami.

So I guess nothing much happened in yesterdays, episode, but it is much better than the snail paced KOLANGAL these days.

Raji is sitting in front of her Pooja room with her eyes closed, and seems like she is deep thought. MAdan & rohini enter and call out Amma , Amma, but no response from Raji. So Madan calls out for Karthik, & Karthik comes down and madan asks him what happened to Amma. Karthik replies that since amma came from the temple she has been sitting like this and does not utter a word. Then Rohini Shakes Raji calling her Athai, AThai and Raji opens her eyes.

They ask Raji what happened, she says that she had gone to the temple to pray that RK should return safely soon, and kept the kumkumam in her forehead, and when she turned around she saw that DEVIL( that is right the DEVIL). She went on and said that Abhirami told her very sarcastically that your Thali will nellaikum to Raji. Madan & Karthik want to kill her, but Raji says this is why she never mentioned anything to Karthk, as she knew he will lose his temper.

AT this moment Rohini mentions that if you all dont mistake me let me tell you all something, the reason our kudumbam is like this is because of Shanthi's tears. as you all have wronged her in one way or the other. Karthi (my friend calls him bracket kai) agrees to this, and asks his mom to go and visit shanthi and ask her to come back. Raji is hesistant at first , but rohini convinces her that if Athai goes Shanthi will come. Raji says kadvule., and as suggested by Karthik, plans to leave with Karthik's friend Balaji.

Now Abhirami is shown in the office talking to her lawyer, inquiring about her divorce case. She mentions that she wants to put madan in jail, where he can never get any bail, as she cannot stand watching madan with rohini. The lawyer says that she needs provide proof where in there is evidence linking Madan as Rohini's husband. Abhirami remembers that Madan had signed the hospital register during Rohini's delivery, gi ving them permission to operate on Rohini. Now Abhirami heads to the hospital bribes the account register guy and acquires the document with MAdan signature stating he is Rohini's husband.

Now Srini's car is shown stuck in the middle of the road and the kandhuvaddi karan approaches him and inquires about RK's disapperance. Srini is trying to avoid him. The conversation between these 2 is being noticed by the Inspector who is following the Kandhuvadikarran. Then the Kandhuvadikarran, meets another accomplice in a hotel and is plotting on getting the Dhanalakshmi(he is referring to abhirami, as she acquired all of RK's property) on to his side.

In the meantime Balaji & Raji arrive at kannikapuram(im not sure about the village name) at Shanthi's residence which is locked. Raji stops a lady walking in the road nearby and inquires about shanthi. The lady says that shanthi has gone to the temple to do Thali poojai, for the save return of her mamanar. Raji is so moved, so they decide to go to the Amman temple where the pooja is happening. Raji & Balaji witness the entire pooja, & at the very end the little girl notices Raji and calls out patti. Now Shanthi also sees them and then offers kumkumam to Raji and they both hug. Shanthi says dont worry athai, though mama was tough with me, he is a very honest, & genuine person, so nothing bad will ever happen to him and he will return safely. Raji has a flash back of Abhirami calling RK a coward the previous day, and she appreciates shanthi more. Shanthi is trying to talk more, when Raji says, let us go home and talk the rest. Shanthi is thinking that surely athai has come to take me with her, how am i going to tell her that i wont come with her, the screen freezes on Shanthi's face.

15 Sep 2005 Episode

Well, Rajeshwari returns from temple and is feelign very low. Rohini convinces her that all the problems the family is facing is due to the sins committed against Shanti and the only way to redeem is to get Shanti back. So Rajeshwari and Balaji go to Shanti's village. Shanti is at a temple doing tali poojai praying for father in law to return.

Srini is accosted by Kandavettikaran. Srini is annoyed but is interested when KVkaran says that he met Abhirami at the office. The policeman assisting Lawyer sees them talking and thinks that somethign fishy is going on.

KVKaran talks to his friend and says that they must keep an eye on Abhirami as she has tons of money and that he suspects that she might have done away with the father in law.

My comments - where is RK - I feel it woudl be totally out of character for RK to be in hiding - I would think that someone has kidnapped him - OR he must have lost memory..

Why don't they all leave Shanti alone. Her village looks beautiful. The cloud covered mountain tops, soothing greenery, peaceful village atmosphere, nice temple - she seems to be much happier here than she was back in Chennai.

... sorry forgot one bit..

Abhirami meets up with her divorce lawyer and tells him that she cant' stand Madan and Rohini's happiness and wants Madan in jail for as long as possible.

Lawyer says that he would need evidence that he is married.. as he never got the marriage with Ronhini registered.

Abhirami's twisted mind works overtime and remembers that Madan signed off as husband for Rohini during delivery.

So she bribes her way thru the hospital and gets a photocopy of the document with Madan's signature.

Nasty woman.. she has destroyed them.. but can't rid her mind of them and wants to suck every bit of blood.

16 Sep 2005 Episode

Most of this episode reinforces the love and affection that Shanti and Rajeshwari share.

One interesting turn of events. Balaji tells Shanti the reasons why Karthik did not confide in her. That firstly, Shanti's mamiyar took satyam from him that he wouldn't tell Shanti. Due to this satyam, Karthik was honor bound to keep the information that he might have inadvertantly caused Vijay's death. And secondly when Karthik wanted to confide in Shanti before their wedding, balaji discourages him fearing that Shanti might change her mind about the wedding.

Shanti seems very satisfied to hear this and says that she knew Karthik would have had valid reasons to keep the info from her. She said that if they had confided in her, she would have taken the same decision as in war, it is no ones fault and she did not think that karthik was to blame. And that she still felt Karthik was a good man... blah blah boiling down to.. she still loved Karthik a lot.

However, she told balaji that she needed to stay away from him as if she returned he might lose the desperation to take revenge on Abhirami. Shanti says she wants Karthik to be successful and stand tall and proud in front of Abhirami. Shanti asks Balaji to not tell anyone else that she had forgiven Karthik and loved him still.

To Rajeshwari, she says, that she would return to Madras but would not speak with Karthik.

19 Sep 2005 episode

Rajeshwari returns from Shanti's village. Karthik is happy to hear that Shanti would come back and says that this in itself is a big achievement. And he expresses his anger towards Abhirami. Balaji is reassured to hear the anger in Karthiks voice as that is what Shanti wanted from Karthik. Revenge!!

Shanti returns to her house and the entire clan comes to see her. Nice reunion scene there.

Shyam is telling Abhirmai about Shanti's return and telling her not to be complacent. That the entire clan might be hatching a plot to get back at Abhirami. Srinivansan laughs Shanti off sayign she was of no significance and reminds Abhirami about giving the industries to him. He says to Abhirami that she must stand for President of the Chamber of Commerce.

The other previous partner to RK chappie (forgot his name) is telling Madan the same thing - that he must stand for president. Rajeshwari says to Madan that it is a 'amma's uttharavu' for him to stand and win the elections. That the victory in the elections woudl signify the beginning of Abhirami's downfall.

Couldn't watch properly as some guests turned up and had to speak with them.... anyone else watched??

I only caught the first half uninterrupted... Ramya discovers the photos of Abhirami and Kandavettikaran that Srini had taken from the lawyer. She is stunned and she takes them to Abhirami.

Abhirami does seem shocked to see them but tells Shyam and Ramya that she did meet KV karan for dinesh case matters, but she was surprised why Srinivasan never told her that he knew and was wondering why he had kept the pictures. She tells them that she would handle the matter. Ramya and Shyam are dissatisfied and feel that she is hiding somethign from them.

Madan and Arjun come to meet Lawyer and Lawyer advises them to keep posting happy news about the family in newspapers etc so that RK knows they are doing okay and that Abhirami is getting defeated time and again by them. He also advises them to contact business contacts in india about RK's whereabouts.

Rajeshwari brings Indu to their house and Karthik is happy to see her.

This is when my guests arrive... i think i saw Abhirami talking to KV karan... hopefully someone else saw this episode and will update!!!
