why not have two wives?

In recent episodes jeet is very disturbed about the ana-chavi situation. Now, I was thinking jeet is a former maharaja 😆 and maharajas used to have several wives . So why not now. I mean he is a rich dude, he can easily manage two wives. That way everyone will be happy 😃 and jeet will have a gharelu wife (chavi) and a super hot wife (ana).

Oh you are cleaver. I am from a Islamic state. But I didn't say that from Islamic point of view. I was saying that from a maharaja's point of view who used to have several wives. Besides its just a damn serial...anything can happen. Here dead people can become alive, dead woman can appear in front of her husband and say good bye, some unknown girl come in town and get a job instantly in a company, stay in the house of the owner of the company, get married to the son of the owner without telling them her background and many other craps. So why not two wives. Also if indian marriage act doesn't allow having two wives how come anil kapoor had two wives in the film "gharwali baharwali" ????

@ pink above - that is what i've been shouting from rooftops...simply beyond me...how is it possible. A family as affluent as the Saluja's would not be so desperate to allow a vagabond to be their heir for literally everything they own and as the mother of their next generation.

This girl Shivani is so beautiful as a fairy or Apsaara, but i hate that unsketched character of Chaavi so much that it even reflects on my image of Shivani. How could an actress so beautiful and talented accept such a beggar's role without some changes.
