Anamika malhotra is definitely a human bcoz she easily entered the temple.

The real form of anamika is that old n creepy woman with scary voice n laughter. There must have always been a human anamika malhotra in the town and the old witch just used her name and took her form to attract jeet basically stealing her identity. Now the human anamika malhotra is shown whom I think will be mistaken for being a witch by salujas, rano, guddi n chiku. This should also answer some qtns related to anamika growing up in day if reincarnated.

Chhavi gupta might be the new form taken by old chandralekha or may be her soul has entered human chhavi's body to get jeet.
