nayi dulhan ke khule baal?

hi guys...in yesterdays episode Pushpa said to Rano kisi anjaan se baat nahin karte aur nayi naveli dulhan baal khol ke khade nahi rahte...is there some custom that new brides do not leave their hair loose?is it bad luck or something?

In my village it is believed that all these bad spirits are attracted towards beautiful open hairs. so all beautiful ladies and newly wed brides are asked not to keep their beautiful hair untied outside especially at night.

Maybe because hair are dead cells in the body and that is where these bad spirit exercise control. Since to get rid of the spirit from a possessed woman, hairs are used to control the spirit first.

Also, to avoid nazar (evil eye), this tradition is followed.

My mother always scold me for this.

yeah my mother also scolds me for the same reason she toh never let me open my hairs infront of anyone neither in the morning b'coz i have very long hairs my mother is very possesive of me and my hairs
