Last week we saw marked difference on the way the judges gave marks. In comming weeks we may see that they give uttam or attiuttam to canditates who have cosistantly got sarvottam. So, I tried to analyse why this would happen.
Now we have only 5 kids who we can say as the best of the lot or the topmost cream. And everyone will agree that all of them are very talented. The problem is now to differentiate between the best. So the scales of marking have changed to make the competition tougher and selection easier. For example IIM might have 20 seats. Thousands will give exam which will have a range of questions - from easy to difficult. They select top 50 all of them are more or less equally intelligent. Then they have various other kinds of selection like GD's and prelimnary... Once these 20 are selected they go through semester exams which have to rank(grade) these intelligent students. They cannot have the same scales the exams become tougher. Out of 20 some might get 60% and few 80%. It does not mean the 60% one's are not intelligent, it just means that the way the scores are given or the scales are changed to find the topper of bests.
So, I would expect judges to give uttams and attiuttams to kids who make even minor sur taal mistakes. If they keep on giving Sarvottam then there will be no reason for them to sit there and everything will depend on Junta ke votes. And I will appreciate if they vary their scales and give sarvottam to only the most deserving. This is neck to neck competition now and only that way the super sarvottam kid will win.How do you like this analysis?? 😊 I infact liked the way they marked the kids on Fri and Sat.
