Media Exposing VOI

It goes like this.

New Delhi: November 07, 2007 - One of the most popular shows on air--- "Amul Star Voice Of India"..is showing yet another face to its viewers.

It was presented as a charming show started with much endeavor and Mr.Gajendra Singh (the director of VOI ) was determined to set up this vast show as a real success and break all the records of his own bank balance. It is known that he dissociated himself from Zee TV, for some financial reasons and disputes and started this new project with Star Plus.

However, the Show has been proving its fakeness consistently. . . . week after week. . . contestants are eliminated in all pre-decided manner, especially lately... How come, almost every week, that contestant gets eliminated, who gets maximum or 2nd maximum votes the previous week?? Be it Sumitra or Toshi. . . How is it possible??

"It is sure that VOI is fixed!!! Harshit Saxena is becoming VOI and that's the final result." -- This news has been flashing in the Orkut forum since time ago, say since 2months or so!!

And that is what the reality is turning up to. How could then this statement be predicted time ago? It has also been heard that Harshit Saxena is some distant relative of the CEO of Star Plus and so his throne in VOI is all set.

Toshi was eliminated before and there was a massive public revolt. His elimination was all publicity stunts and the show gained an enormous TRP.

Then, there was the "Wild Card Entry"-again a money-making business and gaining TRP and attaching with the audience's sentiments and emotions!!

Throughout the show, this has been noticed that none of the judges have ever been an ardent fan or admirer of Toshi (except Abhijeet).

The reason being that they all know the final result that Harshit's position is fixed. He will be the VOI. They ask to vote for Harshit's Granny's sake! How trash!! Are they choosing Voice of India or Grandson of India??

Above all . . . in the show when Irfan was eliminated, the reason highlighted was--- that people of A.P. did not vote much! How sick! Why the hell are they finding reasons to cover them up? The Absence of Abhijeet in that episode (and no reason of his absence revealed) further proves that he knew what the show is heading up to?

Now Toshi is out .. And some person left this message that Toshi will be the next contestant eliminated, before the shoot of the episode itself! He claims to be friends with Jatin Pandit and some other important person handling the show and confirms that the show is actually and really fixed!!!

To add on to all of that is that on last Sunday (28/10/07) why was the VOI voting page on the Internet not responding properly for hours!!!????!!! Why only that particular voting page of Indya.com showed that the upstream server is down??

That's because it was a game played to public so that they could not vote for Toshi via net as he was getting maximum votes (via net largely).

So, with all these proofs and many more which can be checked in the links provided below, it is fairly known that Mr.Gajendra Singh is just a money- making machine and for that, he is making a fool of the audience too! There is no respect to the viewers' emotions. We viewers are simply wasting our precious time and energy, just to fool up our own selves.

If the show is Voice of India then why are our voices not being heard? We want to choose our voice of India and not want to get befooled by getting the Director's Choice pasted on the throne.

Help us get the truth unveiled in front of the nation and let this hidden dirty piece of politics be exposed by media so that voices of the viewers are heard and the contestants eliminated , get the tribute from their fans!

Help us join our hands and do away the injustice!

This looks to be true because when the first pre-final was held in ldh on 11th Ishmeet took ful care of him. When they were to go in an open jeep on their arrival at ldh he told his supporters to cheer Harshit also and garland him and he told Harshit to get in the jeep first. He had lunch at Ishmeet's house and took blessings of his parents and during shooting also the crowd cheered him up and Ishmeet gave him the right to sing the song first as he was the guest.

No tv coverage was given or newspaper coverage was verry less.Only 2 judges ALKA JI AND JATIN JI WERE THERE.

The second pre-final was held in Varanasi on 13th nov and there a grand welcome was arranged only for Harshit and Ishmeet was totally ignored and the most important was that HARSHIT ALSO IGNORED HIM.

The national t.v (INDIA T.V) carried vide coverage and the supporters of Ishmeet who were there in Varanasi were not allowed to attend the shooting AS THEY WERE BARRED FROM ENTERING THE ARENA.They could identify them as they were turbaned.

All this shows that the show is fixed and they want to make Harshit the ASVOI at any cost.

First of all this is not some journalist doing an expose on VOI, since it is clearly mentioned that this is a public opinion and by the looks of it these are the views of some disgruntled Toshi fan's ramblings.

Here is the disclaimer at the bottom;

"Public opinions received by International Reporter are the views of the public and not of International Reporter. The Management is, therefore, not responsible for any reactions arisen due to the public views, since public views are public views."

The person goes on to mention that there was a massive public revolt Toshi's elimination, but we all know that all those clippings shown on SVOI were also faked by the master manipulator Gajji so that he recovers some loss by conducting the wildcard entry based on public voting.

The writer is heavily biased in favour of Toshi, against Harshit & relies on comments posted in Orkut & IF for the content.

All those points brought out the entire write up above have already been discussed, analysed, dissected in detail in this very forum and there is nothing new to be offered in the form of an expose which the author has attempted.

There were many more questionable exits like those of Abhilasah, Arshpreet, Aabhas but it beats me why only Toshi is given the importance.

But what i' m trying to say is that these is not the views of any journalist or columnist in the payrolls of the newswebsite, but just some opinion expressed by on of their reader or a subscriber who is sad at Toshi's exit. (In fact the internet voting was not working many weeks before his elimination)

There are lot of other things which the commentator has overlooked, like the ill treatment & insult meted out to Ishmeet, exit of Arshpreet(one of the top contenders among the girls) at the early stage the controversial wildcard round at the final stages of the competition, Judges' disgusting behaviour, Alka's staged exit in the initial rounds, infact if you go on writing all the murky happenings on ASVOI , it will make a 1000 page masala novel, which can be the subject of a next bollywood movie.
