When Sonu was on the show..

Did u guys happen to catch Sonu mouthing "Shabash, shabash" to Irfan while he was singing "Tera Jadoo Chal Gaya"? (Time: 1:54 minutes) ~ Here's a link if you want to refresh your memory..

I thought it was so cute and honest of Sonu Nigam to act that way.. He was completely involved in the music and enjoying himself thoroughly even though he was quite sick at the time.. I definitely enjoyed that part a lot..He has been my favorite celebrity guest judge on the show thus far. His comments were honest and dead-on. I also liked the way Irfan finished the song.. Perhaps that's just one person's view here but Irfan did an amazing job with this song 😳~

I have never voted for any contestant on VOI but Irfan is a singer that I shall vote for. He definitely has a unique voice; I want him to become Voice of India.

Irfan is really singing very good....He has this nervous energy in him which he is able to translate in to his singing, which makes his rendition more effective 👏 👏

Irfan may not be the best singer but no doubt he's very hardworking. That is my perception and it may be wrong. He's not a quitter- first C2005, then EMET and now VOI.

We need more guest judges like Sonu Nigam. He was such an attentive and enthusiastic listener and what comments he gave! 👏 Actually, I don't mind non-singers like Govinda as the guest judges really. I do prefer people directly related to music but wasn't he also a good judge who knew what he was talking about?

Omg..thanxx for the info that he was in EMET too.. Gosh.. I didnt watch those show too much so didnt know.. I watched EMET for Sharib towards the end.. Anyhow.. U're absolutely right.. He may not be the BEST singer but he is definitely one of a kind.. There is something about him.. I believe.. rather his honesty and simplicity that exudes from his voice as well.. Sonu Nigam was the BEST judge ever.. In fact.. the perfect one so far. And from what I've heard, Govinda actually has got a lot of music knowledge in his blood.. I believe his family's into it. Hence, he definitely knew what he was talking about.. I enjoyed him a lot ... But Sonu never ceases to amaze me with his brilliance 😳~

I agree Govinda was a very good judge too.. How I wish that they had just not sung the Govinda songs when he came.. then it would have been a more interesting episode... I personally liked Akshay Khanna as a judge too... I think he gave some nice comments...

I am wondering if Shabana Azmi would even come to VOI as a judge... She was an excellent judge in II3

Shabana Azmi or Javed Akhtar ... (once II is over ofcourse).. I'd kill to get their comments.. They call a spade what it is and dont sugarcoat things. 😉
