AWARDS and REWARDS

If a singer is well trained and good in what she/he sings even if they sing SIX lines can they be rewarded and get marks.This is not regarding Abhilasha but in general for discussion.Tommorow it can be any of the SVOI singers in the competition.If a singer sings a full song which is below average and somone sings a few lines which is exceptional who shd be voted out?your opinion.

This second question IS NOT in relation to the above question but totally for disussion. Shreya Ghosal got National award for her song Deera Jhalna in the movie Paheli and the Music Director is MM Keeravani(Kreem) The major part of the song was sung by Sonu and only in the end she sings a couple of lines.I felt even Sonu was brilliant in that song but despite that Shreya( she is my favourite) got the award.Is the award justified?You think Sonu Nigam shd have got it?Dont u think both shd have shared the award.

i would go for the person who has sung the mukhda extremely well over the person who has done an avg job of singing a mukhda and an antara, remember even in the 2nd case its not the full song 😊

but ... i am not god 😛 ... i have my shortcomings as well ... so there is more to this ...
if the person singing only the mukhda has a track of singing ok and not so great and this was the exception and the person who sang average otherwise sings quite well then the above result wud be reversed 😊

in other words the track records do matter and if it was the first time for singer 1 or say it happened in the auditions and there is no track record then i would just want to give him/her another chance

favoritism also matters... i will forgive my fav the first time and might forgive him/her the second time ... the third time ... well i dont know

the comparison is not between the two singers, but the singer and others in their category. that is, the awards are usually given for best female and best male singer. the competition is within that category. so to compare shreya and sonu makes less sense than sonu and shaan (which was the competition that year i think).

thts what i was gonna say..... shreya won the national award for the best female and may be her competitors may not be that good... while in male singers may be there were tougher choices....😊

to answer about the contestant.... whether the contestant will be voted out for forgetting the lyrics depends on how the contestant has sung till date..... and on the day before forgetting the lyrics.... if the person is not good at all noone would vote for them.... but continuous forgetting of lyrics may vote out eligible singer too.... it can be pardoned once or twice but not 4-5 times for eligible singers... so they better watch out😉......

this week i just took back my advice to vote for abhilasha..... next time my number of votes may be down😛.....

yes, i voted for abhilasha this time, but next time she does this (hopefully never when she needs votes), i may not vote for her,just because this would seem to be a lesson she needs to learn the hard way.

yeah i fully agree too. It looks Abhilasha has made it a practice- c'mon Abhijeet /Alka stop calling and treating her bachi all the time. if htat was the case she should have thoguht over it before she joined this prestigous competition. I agree with Lalit or jatin i dont know their name reaslly but i agree when he siad that it is not fair to other competitors and they have bought objection, yes they are right in doing so especailly when it has become a regular practice. Get your act straight Abhilasha and stop pleading for sympathy all the time or is it some publicity stunt. 😡 😡 😡
