Sonu gets marriage proposal on VOI

"When I told Sonuji that I am a big fan of his Aadeshji immediately stepped in and told me to express my feelings freely and propose him for marriage. And believe it or not, I did it!" exclaimed Priyani. What was Sonu's reaction? "He joked that 'I will not marry you but will do the kanyadaan for you'."

</>On how her family reacted to her proposing Sonu, Priyani said, "They know how crazy I am for him and told me that it was very innocently done so it was fine. I used to tell my parents that I want to marry him only."

Priyani told us that she heard Sonu telling someone that he hoped a contestant would sing barso re megha since it is a difficult one to perform. "That is why I selected that song, just for him," revealed an excited Priyani, who was also a participant in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, when Sonu hosted the singing competition.

Did she take any singing tips from Sonu? "He told us all to relax and only concentrate on singing. While he was talking to us I felt on top of the world."
