I wish to tell everyone that I'm very impresed by the quality of orchestra of ASVOI, ***********, absolutely brilliant. They pick up details very well, play fillers, chords exactly in the manner they appear in the song...I'm mentioning one example but it holds true for nearly all songs..
in the song 'hungama ho gaya', listen to percussion instruments taking off in interlude but usually silent otherwise, similarily listen to song when it goes back to mukhda from antara, rhythm breaks into a staccato one, all this were being executed on stage, listen to this again if any one has the recording...
also pay attention to Bass guitar being played prominently during second coming of mukhda but other wise playing one note sa sa in antara.. these are treat for people like me....

Glad you made this point, Sinha Ji!

The orchestra has been terrific throughout and its always great to have a live orchestra rather than singing on pre-recorded tracks. It also gives a singer more scope for adding his own 'harkats' etc.

the song by Toshi, pump up the jump which I hadn't heard before also may be taken, listen to the recording once again...
Bassist keeps playing only three notes as bass pad is hit on the drums in a march beat format and hi cat symbol taking off the rhythm to make the flow/matra...very good effect..

I agree. This is a rule that is being followed in all the reality show sections. Else such comparision topics are turning into nothing but Kurukshetra with fans of either side getting too personal.

Now no more discussion on this subject. Let the discussion be contextual to the subject. Any such post and it will be trashed by the Dev Team.

Gretat point made Sinha'ji.... I totally agree.. I think the Orchestra has just been awesome on the show... It does give in that extra charm to the songs...
