My two pence on the show today..

Toshi is one of my favourites...but his performance was disappointing today..he ended the song well..but that required punch was missing..

I dunno what great Priyani sang that the judges praised soo much..I really felt her singing was inconsistent..when Alka-ji used to say all this earlier about Priyani..I really couldn't understand what she meant..n felt she was biased against Priyani...but last week's performance n this week too Priyani was well below par..at least as per my personal opinion..😉

Mirande was too good with her powerful and effortless performance..one of the best performances of the evening..👏

Prantik just murdered the song "O Majhi re"...he was so bad..only after Abhijit-da sang those 2 lines did I get back my sanity!!😆

Arshpreet was so-so with the song..the feel, expression and energy was missing...Jawane Jaaneman is such a dynamic song..didnt get dat as an audience when I listened to her..

Irfan was simply outstanding..such a difficult song..with all the yoodling..and he was right on most of da times...just too good!!👏

Harshit sounded like some not-so-good Kishore Kumar clone..I never really understood all the hype about him created by the judges and his being alone from UP (so wat???!!!😕)..whenever I close my eyes n listen to Harshit I'm reminded of Babul Supriyo..with his nasal twang 🤢

I didn't watch Prantika's performance...

Sumitra as usual chose a powerpacked song..I would really love to hear her sing some softer number...but she was very good...especially once she got into the song..n her range is amazing...but I think Abhi also wrote, her starting was not soo good..I think she was doing the vibrato part of "Jaane Jaa" much too long...

Abhilasha really brought the full mood of the song with hr performance..it was a superlative performance just for the sheer drama she created with only her singing..but her antara could have been smoother (comparing only wid her previous performances)..one of the top performances today..👏

That Abhaas attempted this song is a big deal 👏...and wat professional singing..but I liked his female rendition better than the male one 😆...

The whole charade of an impending elimination and then "a gift from Kishore-da" no elimination..was just pathetic!!

Lets see wat tomorrow brings!! 😊
