Shriram has a good voice - though I felt that he does not have so much base as a good male playback singer should have... His Saturday song choice exposed him... Friday he forgot his lyrics.. however good you are, you cant afford to do these mistakes at this stage... And if that gets overlooked, it sends a wronf message to the other contestants.. Thank God that was not the case here!

I personally didn't think he messed up the song as much. He just didn't get the feel of the song and the song being such a popular one, his performance was disliked.

Hope he works his way somehow! Voices like his would be great in hindi music today

I agree with u... i dont think he was totally off it... it just didnt appeal to the judges for justified reasons... But i really feel had he been in the top 12, he cud have been a strong contender... He has a great voice and the songs that suit him, he just sounds amazing in them...

I loved his song where he forgot the lyrics and yearning for more songs by Shreeram. He has lost the contes to KK Chaitanya in Telugu contest and both are out.

Suggestion to Networks
They should record 9-10 songs by each outgoing / deselected candidates and sell it on line.

I am sure with so many fans the channels should not have any problems and make money or recover the cost of recording.

The viewers can then order Music by Say Shrriram or any one they loved listening to but were not selected to next level.

The channels take so much time even to release the albums for the winner that anything else seems a distant possibility... Sony was good in that regard that they brought out the album of Abhijeet and the II2 winner (sorry forgot his name) soon after the contest.. but didnt we want to listen to Karunya and Rahul Vaidya more? Zee was more lathergetic and came ut with the Debojit album much later (I think if they would have released it in time, it would have been a bigger hit)... and didnt we again want to listen to Nihira, Hemachandra, Himani and Vinit more? There was no album from Sancita... So, I think - the channel will never ever invest in bringing out an album of the ousted contestants... Though many would love to listen to them more!

I have to agree he was good, but u know they have their bad days too!

and coz of that reason he should not be in this contest, going against young new talent looking for their first break. He is good that is why he is already doing playback.

What's the deal with having a playback singer with experience compete with newcomers? Is it fair?

Actually, I am surprised that he's even participating in this contest - given that he's already a playback singer in Telugu films.

Losing here could set back his existing career!!
