i think sumithra is a good singer.to be fair the HRHK song is so spectacular that even nihira couldnt get the "box office" success in terms of viewer expectations-good singer that she is her later songs were sung equally beautifully or better..

in sumithra's case.on the first day,her stress on the word 'mast'really jarred..and the perfect 10 wasnt justified..

2nd day.."aao na"..the song has an intimate and intriguing quality..not a cabaret number sung in a night club..i felt that was lacking..again scores were on the higher side..

i am sure she will come back with a bang,the judges have put their money on her..good luck to her 😊

I like Sumithra's voice and singing. But so far she has sung songs from one genre. I would love to see her sing varity of songs so I can see her range. Some classical-semiclassical, melodious and peppy songs. Even gazal or bhajan would not be bad to see the versatality. 😃

Abhijeet giving her 10/10 was going bit over board 😳

I like her singing. Loved her HRHK performance. The song choice may have helped her with the feedback she got. But there's no denying she sang it very well. The other two performances I liked but felt she could have done much better. Abhijeet overrated both performances.
Sumitra's voice sounds shrilled and sharp (like in aao na) at times though.
Lets see how she can do with a soft romantic or semi-classical song. Never know, she could surprise us all. 😊
