some quick thoughts..
well i expected better song selections from the singers and was on the whole disappointed 😕

i am hoping that coming episodes will be better ..

the judges were tough on the judging,i really liked that..

abhijeet needs to see a shrink,his roti comment(to be telecast tomorrow) is grrr 🤢 ..adeshs padosi singer comment was 🤢

i expect alot from this show..i have nothing else i like to watch my fingers and toes are crossed.

It's very confusing to see judge's score varying so much from each other. It seems if X likes expression Y looks more into sur, originality etc. Then what is the right way of judging, I think it is very imp. not to get carried away by one factor but it should be a balance of several facets of singing. IMO Jatin is the most ideal judge in this respect..
Sumitra's rendition was ordinary and off key at several places but she got away...., she needs to work on higher keys, kabhi kabhi cheekhna chillana lagta hai...
Sardar guy (what's name please ): his singing has thehraav..on spot sur and dil ko shanti dene wali gayaki..
IMO Karishma was pretty good. She is blessed with a good voice, clear & having good throw, good sur & tagd aexpression but she was unable to impress judges..
I believe in Jatin's comment that , jo bhi gayaki ho rang bikharna chahiye maza aana chahiye, I think she was pretty OK..

The usual way of judging is keep a maxm of 10 points each for various aspects like Sur, Tal, Laya, Expression/Emotion, Voice quality, Song rendition, etc. and then take the aggregate. The aspects and maxm scores shd be the same for all the judges. But here the judges have different maxm scores for different aspects. So the final difference shows.

I just got done watching the show. I was also disappointed with some of the song selection by contestants and range of scoring by judges. And why keep 1 judges score suspense so they can all adjust it at the end 😕 😡

I was hoping for Chaitanya to stay much longer but his song selection was not right and khul ke nahi gaya. Did go out of sur few places. I had high expectations from him. Felt bad. Best wishes for him 😳 😃
