Now I am wondering why Thoshi did not compete in SRGMP 2005? Was there an understanding that one brother will compete in one contest and one in another?

Sharib mentioned somewhere that his brother Toshi had participated in some edition of older SRGMP (probbably as a child) but could not reach the final. Some body who has been watching SRGMP for last 12 years may be able to throw some light on this.

I have been watching SRGM and SRGMP for long time and do not remember Toshi at all. May be b/c he may be very young and now all grown up 😃

I also do not remember Thoshi coming up in the older version of the contest... I have been watching the show regularly for years now......

I think, 2 brothers competing on the same version of the show is actually not a win-win for either of them, and hence they probably would have decided to compete in 2 different seasons 😊

Yes, I agree. That's why I am keen to know if there was some thinking behind fielding Sharib and Thoshi separately. In case of Hemabindu and Hemachandra, both took part in the same contest.
