amrit manthan is an event in hindu mythology...it is believd that during churning(manthan) of the ocean..many things came out including many gud and bad things...amrit or elixir was one of the few things dat came out...

no i just told a mythological storyand by the way amrit in hindi refers to a drink that wil make u immortal...it was one of the few gud things that came out...it has nothing to do with the character amrit

No no, i think the show is exactly based on this theory!
Amrit's evil character came out recently, now she's going to ruin her sis's life because she tried to protect her :| [Bad things]
