Tia is happy to play Sonia

Shweta Gulati is glad to get rid of the image of Tia, thanks to her roles in AmberDhara and Durgesh Nandini. Shweta is now enjoying her stint as Sonia in Sony's AmberDhara which is different from her image of the hoity toity Tia from the earlier serial Remix. "I am loving it," says Shweta. "Now people remember Tia fondly but also call and tell me about my new shows. My fans love my other roles as well. I want to do different roles — positive, negative, grey, yellow, red — all possible shades," she says, laughing at her own joke. "But there is nothing like doing a negative character. It gives you so much scope and graph. My character Soniya in AmberDhara is going to evolve now as the story goes forward. I am really waiting for the meaty portions to come. Today acting has become my passion," says Shweta.
