He does not know that Jafar had plotted against him. He feels it is the Sultan. I am sure he will know the truth soon. I too did not get why Jasmine is with him.

Today they showed that Yasmine was there out in Common People's Disguise so that she could clearly see all Security Preparations for her Abba Hujur . And there she bumps to Omar who was there to get ready to attack Sultan .

I think Sultan might get critically injured coz of the attack . Like Zafar planned , Aladdin going to be accused for the attack , Thatz why AlaSmine are running from Soldiers (As per Segment which I saw on TV ) . They will run away from Soldiers & Baghdad army. But it's just a guess . Not sure why AlaSmine will run away from army .
