Sudhanshu Pandey is back on television after six years with Akela and has all the reasons to celebrate. "After Kanyadaan, I didn't get anything exciting and saas-bahu serials are not my cup of tea," reasoned the model-turned-actor.

About his role of a police officer in Akela, he says, "He's someone who's been shot at on the day of his engagement. After eight years of being in coma, he wakes up only to see that things around him have changed drastically. His girlfriend is married to someone else, his mother is dead. That explains the title." The interesting part, he added, is that his character can now see and interact with dead people.

So does he believe in supernatural powers in real life? "Of course, I do," he answered. "In fact, I've expereinced certain supernatural things in real life that made my job easier in Akela," he said.

And will he be seen more often on small screen? "Not exactly. I'm doing six films out of which three are almost ready for release. After Akela, I'd focus only on
my film career," Sudhanshu said.
