Is Sanjay a weak person?

As far as I have seen d episodes Sanjay's character is way to soft and week.. Even after his Garima has been assaulted there has been no anger in his actions.. Even when Ajay asked him to stay away from garima there was no resistance.. Infact it was Garima who slapped Ajay n tried pushing him away in disgust but there was no expression on Sanjay's face.. It looks like he is not connected to garima's life.. He only not bothered about d sufferings of garima.. Maybe m wrong but I don't find sanjay an equally passionate partner who is protective for his love.. Maybe it's d age or something else.. But I don't find the match equal.. Infact I find Ajay more desperate to get garima into his life than sanjay.. M not supporting Ajay for his moronic actions I equally hate him but I am more concerned about Garima and her choice of partner.. Thats my opinion.. I would like to know what the forum members feel about it.. Maybe I hav missed out some points..

Yes huma u are right.. An actor brings his her personality to the character that's why we love them more.. Maybe there is no thought process behind performance by this new guy..
