The wedding night had arrived. And with that, arrived a whole lot of anxiety and stress. Not only Garima was not ready for this forced marriage, she had even lost all hopes of being back with Sanjay, her love. Though she had support from Sanjay, her beloved Bhabhi and Vikram Sir, her very mother was an obstacle in her path to happiness. No doubt, Shobha had tried every means to make Shardha understand about what was right for Garima and that she didn't deserve a rascal like Ajay, but the latter had unconcernedly turned down all the pleas and was adamant on her decision. Shardha was blinded by her love for Samarth. And even if she thought upon Shobha's words for once, just for once, she herself couldn't find anything wrong with Ajay. So at the end of the day, she had finalised the wedding and none could change her decision. The so called engagement had already taken place about a week back and tonight, the marriage would materialise.

Garima was in her room, all decked up in the bridal attire. The ladies helped her get ready for the wedding while Garima sat nearly lifeless. At this instant, she was feeling anything but like a bride. Oh how she had dreamt to be the beautiful bride of Sanjay, her love! But it seemed as if the universe had conspired against them and their love. Yes, she had some dear ones on her side, yet they couldn't do a thing about it. The situation had turned hopeless and nothing seemed to work in her favour.

Every time the thought of getting married to Ajay the scoundrel came to her mind, her body shuddered with disgust and fear. She couldn't digest the ugly reality. She asked all the ladies in the room to go out and leave her alone for some time in a gloomy voice. She needed some alone time for herself. The ladies agreed to her and left her alone.

A few minutes on and her phone rang. At first, she didn't even realise that her phone was ringing but soon enough, she picked it up. The caller was very much familiar. She received the call.

"Garima.. " , came the caller's voice from the other end of the phone.

No answer came from Garima as her throat refused to support her.

"Garima.. Please listen to me.. Please.. I have an idea.. Bas meri baat dhyaan se suno..and this wedding will be cancelled once and for all" .. Vikram tried to console her.

With the last words having some effect on her deaf ears, she spoke to him.

"Par kaise sir... kaise.. jab ab tak kuch nahi hua toh ab kya hoga.." she uttered in a broken voice.

"Just follow what I say.. ok? And don't worry.. Me and Shobha are there with you. We have tried all the straight ways.. Now time to be tedha for tedha people.. Dont worry.. Everything will be ok.." he comforted Garu with his words and articulated all his plan in her ears.

** Half an hour later **

Shardha, Ajay's family and Ajay had gathered at the wedding venue hall. Ajay's happiness knew no bounds as his plan was very much successful. He wanted Garima at any cost and he would get her today. A victorious smirk came on his face as he thought of the wedding and greeted all his guests. He knew Garima was all against him and this marriage from the bottom of her heart, and this very fact pleasured him all the more. Oh how he loved seeing her on her knees and all lost!

All were waiting for the bride to arrive. Some more time to go before the right Mahurat and soon, the wedding would take place.

*Tring* *Tring*...

Shardha's phone rang and she didn't take long to answer the call.

"Haan bolo Garu beta.. taiyaar ho gayin tum? Hum sab tumhara intezaar kar rahe hain" Shardha spoke to her daughter kindly.

"Mom! Ye shaadi hone se pehle mai ek baar aap sabse ghar par milnaa chahti hoon..", Garu sounded very plain and stern on phone.

Getting a little worried for Ajay, Shardha answered back "Ye kya naadaani hai Garima.. stop acting childish and get ready soon. Come to the venue with Shobha as soon as possible. Ok?"

"No mom.. Jab tak aap sab se nahi miloongi.. mai nahi aaungi.. and don't worry..I am not against this marriage.. just want to meet Ajay once before the wedding.. if he can do that for me, I'll be happy to marry him.."

Shardha got a bit relaxed but she was still annoyed with this request of her daughter.

"Acha hold on, let me talk to Ajay.."

Shardha talked to Ajay regarding this and it didn't take long for Ajay to understand that Garu might be playing a game. Yet, he didn't want to take any chance with Garu. Besides that, he also knew that the fate was in his favour, so he need not worry.

Maintaining the kind facade, he turned to his would-be mother-in-law ,"Sure Mom! Aakhir meri hone waali wife hai Garima.. uski har wish poora karna meri duty hai..lets go Mom! And lets be back with her..", he smiled at Shardha and agreed to go to home.

Shardha was relieved yet she mentally cursed her daughter for annoying her and Ajay so much at this point of time. She was so impressed by Ajay's kindness, respect and love towards Garima and her family that she totally failed to notice the cover-up Ajay was constantly having.

She turned to Garima on the call and chided her in a low voice and told her that they are coming.

*10 minutes later*

The venue was nearby the Sachdev Residence and it didn't take long for them to arrive at the house.

As soon as they stepped in, they found Garima sitting on the sofa, all decked up and looking like a beautiful bride. Ajay smirked at her.

"Bolo Garima.. kyun bulaya aise..", Shardha couldn't maintain her calm anymore and she talked to Garima in an enraged tone.

"Mom" Garima sounded all very calm.. "Just chill. I want to talk to Ajay in private. Just for a few minutes."

"Offo.. ye kya laga rakha hai.. kyun ye ladki itni ziddi hai.." Shardha dropped down on the sofa with an anguished face.

"Arree... Its okay Aunty Jee.. Baat hi toh karni hai Garima ko.. If I don't have any problem with that, why are you worrying so much about this..Calm down aunty!" Ajay comforted his to be MIL, his facade being crystal-clear to Garima.

"Yes mom.. Ajay doesn't have any problem. So aap bhi pareshaan mat ho." Garima said in a sarcastic tone.

"Fine.." Shardha kneaded her forehead and gasped. "Do whatever you want "

"Wow mom... what double standards! Do whatever you want' and you aren't letting me do what I want " Garu thought mentally and laughed at her poor self internally.

"So Miss. Garima.. new game huh?" Ajay said as he locked the door and came inside.

"This is not a damned game.. you get that? This is my life!" Garima barked back at the rascal.

Ajay still didn't lose his calm as he was happier for his victory.

"Jo bolna hai bol le.. ab kuch nahi ho sakta.. I have won! And we both are getting married tonight!"

"I know nothing can happen now.. isliye tumse baat karna chaahti hoon.."

"Oh! Thank god.. Madam ne facts ko accept toh kiya..", he laughed at her.

While Garima wanted to kill that moron then and there, she knew the better for her! She had to maintain her calm, at least for her love and her dear ones.

When Garima didn't converse for the minute that followed, Ajay's patience started withering.

"Will you just get to the point.. nahi toh mai baahar jaa raha hoon..and this time, I am taking my bride with myself..", he winked at her dirtily.

"I am ready for the marriage.. but I want some conditions to be fulfilled before that..", she finally spoke up in a stern tone.

Ajay tried to study her expressions, in case she was playing any game. "Natak mat kar shaadi se pehle.. " came his voice, disrespect dripping from his words.

"Natak toh tum kar rahe ho.. Acha banne ka.. meri mom ke saamne.. but anyways, my first condition is, you have to promise me that you aren't going to harm my Sanjay in anyway after this very moment.. I know promise jaisa word tum jaise logo ki dictionary mein nahi hota..but then..I can't help it, Can I?..Promise me"...she knowingly stressed on My Sanjay' so as to provoke the rogue she was talking to.

And yes, Ajay did get worked up! Anger replacing his cool, he raised his hand to slap Garima, but soon just patted on her cheek.

He looked in her hands, in case she was hiding some camera or recording something. But her hands were all empty. Garima understood what he was doing.

"Oh..dont worry.. I am not playing any games.. I don't have any camera in my hands that you're looking for.. and why did you stop my dear soon-to-be husband? Slap na..Slap me! I want to get accustomed to my future life from this very moment.. if you know what I mean", she growled back at him, sarcasm and hatred dripping from her voice.

Ajay took back his hand and he was sure by now, that there was no dangerous ploy ahead. Garima was too naive to play such games.

"Agar dobaara us Sanjay ka naam liya na.. toh sach keh raha hoon..muh tod dunga.. aaj islye apna haath rok liya kyonki aaj humari shaadi hai.."

Heeding his words no attention, she continued with her stern voice "Just promise me god damn it"

Ajay was irritated with her. And he knew the ball was in his court so he didn't mind agreeing to her.

"Fine.. aage bol.."

"My second condition is, You are not going to hurt my family either..in any damn way"

"Done"

"And last condition is, you are not going to scare or threaten me like you did the other day when you threatened me with the acid attack on my face ..Neither are you going to touch me or harm me, nor are you going to force me..."

He laughed out loud at her and said "Done! Just let this wedding get over..and I promise.. I am so NOT going to do what you said..", he mocked at her and looked at her in a devil way.

Garima's work was done! She sighed with relief. She smiled to herself internally and congratulated herself. She was so disgusted with that moron, she couldn't tolerate a moment more in his dreadful vicinity.

She stormed off out of the room and Ajay followed. As soon as Ajay came out in the hall, the entire colour on his face drained away at once and his face turned pale.
