Sure it wouldnt be easy to walk out of a 9 year old marriage with two kids. But I think its important that the makers realise that they are sending out a wrong message.

One cannot support wrong, even for the sake of the kids. For get as a husband, has Samarth not wronged the kids by not only committing adultery but also a traitor. Why would Shobha want such a father to be around for the kids ?

The way they are showing Tarun and his brother treat the women, - is also obnoxious. Atleast Garima is putting up a fight.

Somehow even I am not too happy ! 😕

Thank you Sudha. 😊

WORD!!

The continuous ill-treatment of women on this serial is getting to me. So Tarun and Samarth are in Jail, but it's not because Shobha put them there, but because of the efforts of another man, Vikram. Shobha was still willing to take her husband's punishment and languish in jail while he roamed around scot-free, no doubt bedding another string of women.

I really, really want the women to stand up for themselves and put an end to the abuse.

and somehow we all have seen that smarth doesnot care about kids even too so whats the use of living with that man😕

Thank you, Huma. 😊

When Samarth returns home, is when Shobha will realise (too late) that she made a mistake by sticking on to her marriage. But by then it will be really too late, and Samarth, will, as you say, make her life hell. The kids want their daddy. Of course they do even when daddy couldn't care less. Samarath is a bad husband, a bad father, a useless brother and son. Shobha would be better off without him, and she knows it, but won't take the steps needed to let him go.

I have been stating this on Everyone 's thread today ..tht cvs need to stop doing this ...

Crime rate against women is at an all time high n ESP young men like Ajay , the warm blooded hormonal ones are the ones who take things impulsively ..let's not give them a reason to boost abt unnecessarily n glamorize the wrong ..

The whole thing came out rather disturbing ...I am sorry if this hurts any of the fellow members but thy is the truth ..

The makers shud be more careful of wht they show on national n prime time tv

Dorrice is sick

Hugging ya back, ecrivain! 😃

Word! Word! Word!

The CVs should not be so scared to get Shobha to cut the ties. There are other FLs doing that on other channels. And the TRPs of those shows have climbed. Also Shobha's strong martyr streak is not in line with her independent and moralistic characterisation. Hey she vomited when she found out about Samarth's infidelity. And she was alarmed and upset when Sarika faked the abuse. So if that is her natural (normal) reaction, then how can she react so abnormally in this situation? Doesn't quite gel for me.

I was very disturbed seeing all the negativity and the difficulties being faced by women in the show. With each episode, the amount of atrocities against them is increasing.
It is sad to see Garima getting slapped and threatened with an acid attack by ajay, Riddhima getting mentally and physically abused by Tarun and lastly, Shobha whose whole life was ruined by her MCP husband Samarth. Its saddening. But what surprises me is that they are silently accepting it all and suffering. They still believe and have that little nagging at the back of their minds that these men will change. Which is highly ridiculous and brands women as naive and senseless.

With crimes against women already so high, These points should not be highlighted.

Women need to take a staunch stand against them. Instead of crying and hiding in fear, they need to stand up, and fight for their own selves.

Also, Shobha's so called speech looked 'incorporated just to suit saif' s film promotion. It looked out of place and unrealistic.
Talking about the current track, Shobha is not really thinking about Samarth at all.She has realised his worth and now doesn't care a damn about him.

Thank you, Superchillz.😊 You make some great points.

@ Silent sufferers: That is what disturbs me. Only Garima's reaction, when she tried to slap Ajay back was kinda normal by my book. Makes me think that Riddhima and Shobha's parents didn't raise their girls right - to know their own worth and to stand up for themselves, and to rely on themselves for their future.

I really hope the sisters are not expecting Tarun and Samarth to change, because that is def not going to happen. Those two men are criminals with a sense of entitlement and superiority and hatred for women inculcated in them as kids, and which will never change now.

@Women need to stand up for themselves: Absolutely agreed!! Nobody else is going to stand up for them or respect them unless they respect themselves first.

@Shobha's speech out of place: Also agreed. I think it was for Saif's promotion that it was manufactured. And hence was jarring.

I am really hating the way Ajay is freely able to slap Garima at will and follow her and threaten her with acid attacks. This is a criminal at large. He should be treated as such and put behind bars. How come Sharda can't see Garima's pain!1 What a failure of a mum!!

Thanks. you know- I meant ridhima not garima... sorry considering the circumstances, i think garima has more backbone than these two sisters. I am Especially really pissed off with shobha's attitude. I mean how much more do you want to decide to say "enough!"... There are several things that I could not digest. One that I can remember now is her telling somebody that love does not die suddenly and she has been in love with samarth for 9 years and she cannot forget him all of a sudden. I can understand him becoming her habit, unable to cut ties all of a sudden, staying on for the sake of children etc etc. but love??? Come on. don't tell me she still loves him after all this. I cannot understand that mentality!!!! The other thing that I did not like was her being so submissive in the court almost letting Samarth get the bail instead of her. Does she really think after all this that samarth after getting out of jail (instead of her) will take good care of her children? reallly????? I was shocked when she so meekily said "yeah children miss thier father". so she will let her "criminal" husband out of the jail hoping that the kids need him more than her and instead rot in jail??? Come on, by now she knows (from samarth himself) that the affiars are all true. He has been extremely manhandling and inconsiderate after being in jail, he has not shown any concern for his children and she is acting like he is just a perfect father. There is no substance in such a character! i guess I expected more than this from a main lead.
As for Garima, did she tell her mom that ajay hit her? If she did, does Sharada still think Ajay is good for her daughter? Does things like this happen in urban settings (forced marriage)? some educated girl like Garima has no say in her marriage! I am confused!
Both my daughters watch the show with me. My seven year old asked me yesterday- "you will not force me into a marriage that I dont like , right mom? .
What keep me hooked to the show is the "teenager" Naaniand her "bigda hua" grandson as well as the "sutli bomb" Jiya.

And I agree with you about the women biding their time before they rise up against the abuse and stand up for themselves.

About Shobha, her statement makes me very uneasy. Do women compromise with infidelity?Yes, they do, mostly for the sake of their children, and for themselves too. But in Shobha's case, here's a man who's many affairs have been exposed to her by the cops. She was sick to the stomach after that. Here's a man accused of treason. A man who never thought twice before risking her freedom, threatened to divorce her, take her children away from her. A man who wanted her to pay and stay behind bars so he could be let out of jail on Parole.

Why would Shobha want to spend another moment in his company? Especially for the sake of her children shouldn't she move on because what kind of an example does she give Jiya with this behaviour - that Jiya should stay in an abusive relationship for her children?

I know life and decisions such as these that have far-reaching impacts are never easy and mostly grey, but it would be great if Shobha showed some spunk. In another serial on Zee, a women whose husband was also a serial womanizer, cut ties with her husband, even though\ she had one child. So it's not unheard of. And that woman did not have a job or financial security.

I so want Shobha to stand up and take the tough calls - tough because they are for her own self-respect. Beyond time that she looked to her own needs.

as of now I think Shobha needs a bigger jolt to leavr Samarth for good She is still thoughful due to her kids as for her thoughts atleast no thinking of Samarth like earleir is shown so that institute of marriage which she values with respect is one sided & as she claims for her kids sake yes cannot deny that fact I would wait and see how it leads !! Here if u have seen ektas interview ahe wants to focus on the financial strenght of Shobha as today the complete responsibilty is on her head otherwise they will be on road so yes Shobha's charcater made to evaluate her own dignity & realize that this man Samarth her 9 year husband is not valued or respected this institution and she should hold her head high and wqlk out even for the sake of her kids who need not lead a life u der such a husband/ father who disent resoect this institution!!

Te speech she gwve when Saif & Illena was a speech as saif said one day she will reflect back & know what a ride she was taken for these years and decide to break ties!!

Lets hope for the best if the message this show wants to give with a woman being self sufficient independent & even after cheated martiage with love trust & respect is willing keeping her head high leave those ties thats the new woman who wants to stand tall on those grounds.
