A lovely re-cap of today's episode!

Thank you! Just reading your take on the episode somehow, makes it so much better!
The relationship between the leads is changing so subtly in every episode that sometimes, it needs to be pointed out what has changed.
Shobha and Vikram's opinions about each other has changed a lot since they first met.
They are nudging closer and closer towards one another, and Vikram is realizing it more than Shobha. She is dealing with way too many other emotions, besides her growing comfort with Vikram.
Oh I am so looking forward to Monday's episode!
The collages reminded me that Vikram totally needs to lose that jacket!
What was that he was wearing today? And white trousers?
Please give him better clothes!

Lovely to see you here!๐Ÿ˜Š
@ Vikram is realizing it more than Shobha: There is a saying, "The bigger they come the harder they fall." That applies to Vikram - how zealously and for how long he's guarded himself against the cherub with the bow and arrow. ๐Ÿ˜† Tried to get fire Shobha asap. And look what's happening to him. The walls are crumbling. The dam is breached. And he can't hold the feelings in any more.
And as you so rightly point out, it's Shobha who will be last to realize. She will not see the feelings creeping up silently, but will hold on to her "habit" of decades aided and encouraged by her in-laws and society-at-large, which will pressure her not to abandon her husband in his hour of need. She's the one with the huge hill to climb.
@ Vikram's outfit: Agreed!! The white trousers and jacket did nothing for him.๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Sorry I saw your wonderful post earlier I wanted to write but couldn't..
Loved the points so beautifully addressed ๐Ÿ‘ !! I lo e the way they project the various dimensions of Vikram & Shobha & the triggers affecting them, & also bow with his pst opening up into small puzzles scattered & Shobha is also dealing with her own personal prblma who these two will travel the path together dealing witb this will be interesting & Samarth doing is tricks with another cunning wolf Tarun & seeing Shobha's breakdown how Vikram will be affecting & constructively help her deal & keep her foundation intact & yes the dignity trust & respect parameters weigh a lot!!

today epi was indeed good, especially vikram-shobha-jiya scene๐Ÿ˜ณ
im happy that shobha doesn't give the affidavit to taurn early else then how she will come across the real face of smarth๐Ÿ˜ก
and felt too bad for shobha hope vikram will help her now

Thank you Huma. ๐Ÿ˜Š So glad you liked it.
They managed to give the Vikram-Shobha-Jiya scene a distinctive slant, which was very charming.
@ Shobha holding on to the affidavit: You make an interesting point - how indeed will Shobha see the real face of her husband until she defies him!! Agreed. Painful but essential for her to realise the real nature of the man.
@Vikram helping Shobha: Yes I can see that despite his 'will', he will be unable to keep out of Shobha's problems. ๐Ÿ˜Š

I think Sho will take. Stand against Sam

Helloo, Ecrivain! ๐Ÿ˜Š
I wonder if Shobha will have the will to go against her children's wishes and say no to Samarth. Somehow, I think she will still give her marriage every chance, unless Samarth really and completely kills her love for him through a series of abusive moves.
And yes, the irony of it - her husband is her torturer, while that man who has no claim over her is her saviour. Well observed!!

One of the most delightful analysis and take on the episode I have read ! Really ! it was wonderful to relive the episode through your words ! โญ๏ธ

I love the way the transition of Vikram is happening. The reawakening of his past, and his shift to a softer more vulnerable side.

I also love Shobhas character. it is just so real. Her confusion, turmoil, and trauma, and her effort to move on with strength, despite all thats happening around her, -and most importantly still so grounded and rooted to right and wrong.

Yesterdays episode, I feel is the first turning point in the serial. From here how the Vibha bonding occurs will be interesting watch.

Thanks for your post. It was awesome read ! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Thank you, Sudha. ๐Ÿ˜Š Delighted you liked it.
@ Shobha's characterisation is just so real: I so agree with you. Shobha is in a state of flux. She's battling with herself as she tries to come to terms with a drastically changing landscape - from being in a position of power and envy (socially) she's gone to being pitied, eyed with ill intentions. She's struggling for survival, carving a new identity without even knowing who she is anymore...A fascinating journey and beautifully portrayed by Sonali.
@ Yesterday the turning point: It def seems like it. Vikram has unknowingly crossed over a threshold. He can't stop himself feeling her pain. He can't dismiss her as "does not matter" any more. Sonali and her children's well-being affects him. For Shobha, with neither the mindspace nor heartspace, that softening will take longer. It'll be interesting to see how much longer...๐Ÿ˜ƒ

The scenes are so well brought and shown, love'em.
I loved how Vikram handled Jiya.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜ณ
And the last scene, you have described it so beautifully. Where Vikram witnesses a shattered Shobha and himself has pangs of pain and shock evident on his face.
Soo looking forward to the next episodes and your write ups. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
By the way, I am new to this forum.
Nancy๐Ÿ˜ณ

Welcome to the forum, Nancy. Hope you enjoy it here. I look forward to reading your posts. The Vikram-Jiya bond is indeed special. There is an understanding there, and a mutual need, hers for a superman, his to do something now to lay to rest the ghost of his childhood. And it's growing into something more. Lovely to see it unfold. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Thanks DD.๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿค— Thrilled that you liked it.
The dentist visit as a family. First the man's irritation, typical of a any male as such. But just then Daddy's little girl just simply listens to her Bhootnath Uncle speak the truth and why she needs to support her mommy in her own way. Vikram kind of made Jiya a very responsible child in that moment. To be more like her mom and extract the troubling tooth. Some significance there. Get rid of something that troubles you.
Well observed! ๐Ÿ‘ Yes I can imagine Vikram bracing Shobha, asking her to deal with Samarth in the same way - by cutting that troublesome knot with one quick slash. He may not be in a position to advise her immediately, and nor will Shobha listen to him just yet, but when their relationship progresses to that point that he can, I'm sure he'll stand firm by her side as she struggles to break free.

Shobha has been shielding the kids from reality. Trying to multitask physically, mentally and emotionally. But with Vikram's little pep talk, Shobha found her little girl had grown wiser in a teeny weeny way. Just those words from Jiya would lend her the courage she needs to take on the S&T gang now onwards.

S&T!! How I wish that Shobha and Vikram grind them into the dust painfully and slowly. ๐Ÿ˜†
Loved the ice-cream eating scene too. Eating kulfi at the street corner on an autumn evening..has its own charm..Indulging the child, paying for it and you get flying folds of a duptta touch you gently like a breeze. Hahaha...he had to taunt..the ruining of hismane, the fake yawns...it was awkward after all...and what with the lady presuming he had the hots for her!๐Ÿ˜†
'Indulgent' is the word!! No matter how he tried to cover it up, he was just indulging mother and child. And we know whom we indulge...๐Ÿ˜‰
I really can't stand that Tarun...why the instigation against Shobha. He needs to go behind bars next. And I hope someday Vikram would do that to him for some reason or the other.
So, so agree!! At this point I don't know who's worse - Samarth or Tarun. I wish Shobha's sis would make Tarun's life hell, anything to wipe that smug smile off his face. But am pretty sure that Vikram is going to decimate him at some point.
The office scene again...Shobha trying her best to thank him for everything and he is back with his armour on...back into his troubled past...a place where a little lad was hurt ...

And then he found her...slumped on the floor, in a vulnerable state..crying. dejected...wiping away the tears...shattered...and then she looks up to see him staring...hurriedly she gathers herself...wipes off the last of those drops of pain from her cheeks, gathers the papers and walks out.

Her look when she realizes Vikram's there, witness to her devastation, her courage, the way she pulls herself together, wraps the tatters of her dignity about herself and walks out. If he didn't already have a soft spot for her, he would at that point.
Now what could have brought his Lady down to the floor... who always stood tall against him even in times of adversity.. Cant wait for Vikram to take the smug look off that snake Tarun's face.

Shwets without a doubt your collages are the fairy lights of the post...just brings to life the scenes!

WORD ๐Ÿ˜Š

hugs
