Zee TV's popular show Aisi Deewangi Dekhi Nahi Kahi (Diamond Pictures) will see a new entry that will make the story line all the more gripping and interesting!!

Noted Marathi actress Anjali Ujwane will soon enter the show as the elder sister of Dharam Singh Rathod (Rasik Dave). Her character Mandira will be a powerful lady, and will be residing in Kutch.

As per sources, "She will be a big drug dealer, and will have her hand in all the illegal affairs. She will enter the Rathod family with the main motive of ruining the family's happiness. She will be the new negative lead on the show.

We tried buzzing Anjali but could not get through to her.

We reached out to the channel spokesperson but did not get any revert.

Anjali who is known for her work in both Hindi and Marathi movies has been part of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and Krishnadasi on TV recently.

Gear up for this new entry in the show.

Maybe they will have Teja uncover something that DSR's sister is doing that will save the family and then they will all like her again. The whole thing started when she saved Sarla and Prem's aunts and they all became indebted to her. Or the drug dealer aunt will put Teja in harms way and then of course Prem will be the hero and save her. The possibilities are numerous 😊

I think so too, its to get Teja back into the good graces of the family but not before she is maligned etc by everyone but I prefer this to watching Preeti be evil, it just feels wrong seeing sisters fight over a man,, especially one sister who hardly knows the guy😕. But this would be for sure to get them all to like her again and then she might be put in harm's way by the aunt leading to Prem getting all mad. I have to say I'm a bit intrigued by Prem-Teja's equation now, its quite obvious Prem still loves her madly but his nature is such that he is so vengeful, so he will try to hurt her but at the same time he loves her so much , that he can't bear seeing her hurt. He's going to be all knotted up.

Really, I think the craziness comes mostly from Prem. The theme song video shows them repeatedly coming together and then pulling apart and so far when one has loved, the other has hated. They have yet to passionately love each other at the same time.

So I wonder if the theme of their whole love story is always going to be passionately drawn together and then passionately push each other away? Or will they eventually come to a time when they will passionately love each other at the same time and remain that way? I suppose with his fiery personality, it will always be up and down and she will always be the one to cool him down. Well, and heat him up 😳.

I agree, I think its his deewangi to start off with, she's the more balanced one in the relationship, while he seems to be the more unhinged passionate one. Deewangi literally translates into madness in love, and I think with him, he will go to any extent for her. Even today in front of the goddess, he was like if she dies, I will kill myself. He is hurt beyond words by the deception but he can't imagine a life without her even then. She is like a drug in his bloodstream, he will always crave her, through his hatred, through his anger, through his distrust. And I think she will soon match his deewangi at some point, even though she is the more composed one, we know she has the passionate side to her, his love for her is going to unlock her deewangi for him.

I would compare them in a way to Heathcliff and Catherine from Wuthering Heights, maybe not as destructive as Heathcliff and Catherine who craved for each other in such a way that even death couldn't separate them, but their passion was too much for the living and burned everyone and anyone who came between them and destroyed each other. There is another book by a Canadian author Guy Gavriel Kay , called " A Song for Arbonne", where this guy pines for a long- dead woman and I think Prem also reminds of poor Bertran .

"Twenty-three years," Bertran de Talair said a moment later, half to himself, his eyes on the moon in the window. "So much longer than I thought I would live, actually. And the god knows, and sweet Rian knows I've tried, but in twenty-three years I've never yet found a woman to equal her, or take away the memory, even for a night."

Yeah the new entry will ultimately be the reason Teja is forgiven by the family. But I'm pretty sure Teja is going to go through a lot before that. If they go the mainstream way Teja will become the typical telly drama scapegoat daughter-in-law who will be blamed for things which she hasn't done. But this PH has been doing most things differently so far (except the stupid sibling love triangle), so hopefully they will think outside the box in this situation too. Also hopefully we will get to see college scenes too, I really don't want to see Teja sacrifice her dreams and become a housewife.

I also hope they bring improvement in Preetis character.

Now that you mention it, there's definitely a Heathcliff and Catherine feel to it.

We definitely need to see Teja come back into her own. She had a goal at college and she fought for justice, so now that the revenge is put aside, she needs to reclaim her strengths. It's what Prem first loved about her. He said he liked her attitude towards him.

I don't think that she'll be a door mat for long. I really think that the core of who she is will rise up again and not take crap from anyone. She'll have to get her snap back before the drug dealer aunt comes upon the scene too in order to deal with her.

In real life, their relationship would be exhausting and headed to a marriage councillor but on the screen, it allows us to feel all the aspects of their tempestuous love. Even the unrealistic parts!

The new writer who joined the team has written some edgy stuff so I'm sure we'll be in for some surprises.

I agree. I think the show was never about revenge and I know some viewers are sorely dissappointed by that. The revenge track was just to bring them together and get them wedded. Any other way of getting Teja and Prem would not look morally acceptable. Now that they got the two married they got rid of the 'revenge' element.
As most of you mentioned the story is about 'Deewanagi' and nothing else. The title says it all.

But right now its a purely onsided deewanagi of Prem. Teja has not reached that state yet. She won the love, affection and respect of both Prem and his family quite easily. And now has lost everything and has to start afresh to redeem herself in their eyes.

I love the way they timed the twists in the storyline. Each twist of Teja falling in love easily, Preeti likewise and how she tries to create hurdles were all done with aim to bring them together and start the real deewanagi story. It looked absurd at the time. But looking back it all falls in place including why they emphasised on each of the marriage vows during the wedding ritual. I am sure both Prem and Teja will face situations reminding them of each of these vows.

As for Prem I think after reading Teja's apology letter knows she is not faking this time round. But he does not want to give in so easily. He wants to make her go through trials and tribulations to be worthy of his love again. Teja has realised that and is ready to go through his painful test of love ...😳

I totally agree with you. Good points too.

I liked the precap for the next episode. My English subtitles showed it as this:

Teja - You loved me, and I pretended to be in love with you. Now, I will love you, and you can pretend to hate me.

Prem - you may believe whatever you want, but that won't change the facts. And the fact is that I hate you.

Teja - I promise you, that I will turn your hatred into love.

Let the love games begin. 😉
