So where teja married prem for revenge, already on her first night of the marriage she found out her father was evil and her revenge is baseless. WOW! Just wow. Can I have a sarcastic slow capping emoji, because no other emoji will suffice at this point. This was meant to be the main story, but now they have reduced the story to nothing. I don't see anything interesting in this show. I've never seen a show do this to its own story, where the main story ends when its barely started. Why? What are the cv's planning on doing. Now all we're going to get is a guilty teja who is going to run around pleading for forgiveness from her in-laws and crying. We're going to get the typical doormat female lead from now on, and there will be no substantial story from hereon. It hasn't even been 4 months since the show started, and only now the real drama started and they end it in the same week. I'm slightly at a loss of words. 🤢

I totally agree, they pretty much sabotaged their own story by the recent turn of events. 😡 What makes me most annoyed is the fact that Teja's dad had to be shown as a corrupt police officer when it's his teachings which have shaped her into a strong and righteous woman. AND, by showing DSR as a hero, they're basically justifying him murdering her dad and in fact, they're even justifying him taking a sword and going to kill Rakesh or whatever that guy's name was.

I have yet to watch this week's episodes, but I hate the way this track was executed. As you said, now Teja's character will be reduced to nothing but a typical, crying daughter-in-law. This whole time I was on her side and now I feel like an idiot. I feel so sorry for her now. Also, now by making Teja's revenge wrong, they're making it okay for Prem to mistreat her for her betrayal. I don't know about anyone else, but I haven't forgotten the awful way he used to treat her before he fell in love with her and now by making Teja wrong, he can pretty much do all those things again and it's going to be justified.

If I hadn't been so invested in the show, I would've likely quit watching it at this point. I am so disappointed.

I think if anything, Teja will want to right all her dad's wrongs and she will personify the person he wasn't. I assume that he taught her all those good and honorable teachings so that she would look up to him and love him unconditionally. He basically wanted to look good in his wife and daughter's eyes.

But now that she knows he was a baddy, and she's feeling so guilty for using Prem, she will probably go above and beyond the normal scope to correct things with his family and the people her dad harmed. Atone for her and her dad's sins. She already has the foundation for fighting for justice so now she will probably go to the extreme.

If she becomes a doormat to DSR's family because of her guilt, I don't think it will be for too long because she has such a strong personality. Once she feels like she's atoned enough and she stands up for the weaker ones, she will also stand up for herself. If Prem decides to now exact his revenge on her, then for every fire he will throw her way, she will instinctively put them out.

Since the tide keeps changing in the story, I think it's possible that once DSR's family sway too much the other way in punishing her, that they might start acting their don(ish) way again and then it will be Teja to once again fight for justice against them. It's very much back and forth so far.

Just as a side note, when I wrote the above thoughts, I hadn't watched the episode yet and now that I've watched it, it was funny that my English subtitles had her saying that she wanted to atone for her sins. Exactly what I thought she would feel. Teja is definitely going to be ruled by her guilt for now.

The preview for the next episode shows Prem stopping his mom from removing the marriage necklace from Teja so I wonder if he still wants to remain married to her.
