I find it despicable the deliberate avoiding of punishing Prem for his criminal deeds.

First letting Prem free from his horrendous kidnapping and violent behavior is so wrong. Is he a certified woman abuser? NO excuses, not even Dad.

Next in todays episode, he gets up close and personal with Tejas, this is so wrong?

What he did today was tantamount to molesting Tejas. This is so sick. How can the channel set such an eg? Wont women who undergo all this are forced to take it lightly? NO manhandling a woman is NOT romantic and NO its a crime. NO man has a right to touch a woman against her consent. Be it anyone. No woman in real life can ever like such touch.

what happened to the brave and smart Tejas? Nothing, she does not oppose and meekly allows Prem to violate her space and body.
Isnt there a more acceptable way to show case a tussle?

Instead of seeking a way to set herself out of the clutches of the DON, she decides to COOK for them?😕🥱

It seems now they are going to show Prem pretending to be falling in love with Tejas, whose heart will then be broken? Isnt this a sick idea?

Why do shows promote bad behavior and violence against women?

This is going the Ishaqzaade way according to me.
The problem is such manhandling and push/ shove has become a norm in the narrative that people no longer question such actions.

I agree with you that Teja needs to find her tongue and give him a lashing about personal space.. coz otherwise it's like she is egging him on

I will try addressing some of what you have said and the way I interpreted it.

First coming to Prem not being punished for the kidnapping, the only person who knows about Teja's kidnapping is Teja herself and then Prem and his brothers. Neither Prem nor his brothers are going to say anything about it. As for Teja, she does not want her mom to know, so she uses this as a bargaining chip with Prem, so that her mom does not know and she doesn't have to leave her education and go to Anklewshwar. Not only is her life dependent on this education, but the whole family is kind of dependent on Teja doing well, which was kind of eluded to in the first few episodes. And hence why Teja keeps quiet. As for Prem going unpunished, I think the truth is going to come out with his folks at some point and he will get punished.

With regards to today's episode, Prem's crowding of Teja's space was wrong but the treatment of it was different from the usual shows, there wasn't any romantic music playing in the background, no lovelorn looks between the two and she did push him off.

As for her cooking for DSR's family, she has only seen the good side of him and his brothers, she has seen him be kind and just, she is right now reacting to him being good, he hasnt done anything wrong with her and has treated her with kindness.

Prem is an anti-hero, he is not going to be a good guy,he plays by his own morals, he will try breaking her heart but I think he will fall into his own trap with Teja being least bit affected by him.

Thats sadly true and no one questions is even worse. The description of the feisty girl was good but seeing her going down the la la lane is pathetic.

Tejaswini is now on a maun vrat or a puppet , she is behaving like a teen girl in love.🥱

Firstly thanks for taking it in right spirit and replying so nicely😳
Now allowing her Mom to know is ridiculous, Prem had stalked and kidnapped her, that is a crime, what if they molested her? Siding with rowdy boys is dangerous, bad example by writers team.
The punishment should be for the wrongful deed and not for the sake of it.

Good side of a Don does not make sense because he is DON- criminal in eyes of law so instead of running away, she is trying to please him

No romantic song does not mean its correct or less faulty. Khair I guess its Indian TV so till the viewers refute, it will keep on happening.

Haha, no issue, I think everyone has a right to opinion and views and people are far more inclined to listen to what you have to say, when you put it forward politely and respectfully. Also each person's view of something is coloured by their own experiences, so how can I take offence to someone else's view?

As with regards to your concerns, I agree, normal good guys don't kidnap girls & its not to be seen romantically but, also we have to understand that a don' son is normally never considered a good guy. He is like I said an anti-hero, I don't even think we are supposed to sympathise with his kidnapping of her and that is why the treatment of scenes is very important. For example, if there is a ML man-handling a FL and there is a romantic music playing in the background, it subliminally tells the viewer it is alright to romanticise that scene and it normalises the behaviour for the viewer. Here they want to establish that the ML is a grey character, there is no romanticising the black parts of the character, Every viewer who watched the kidnapping rightfully was horrified, the scene was horrendous but it is also to establish the character without saying he is right. We have to give a certain leeway for cinematic reality for them to establish the character. By white-washing Prem's character, they would do a far more disservice by making it seem like dons and their families are just really nice human beings who are just misunderstood. It's far more important that people don't think a don or his son are just lovable human beings. Prem has been brought up with a lot of freedom and a misuse of his dad's name , just like how DSR's bro emphasised. Being sanskaari and good at home is not enough, there are consequences of being a criminal that not only engulf you but everyone you are involved with.

Thanks dear for being sweet and accepting another view point. Normally the fan girls of the hero irrespective of +ve or -ve simply jump on you. I was a bit apprehensive while posting but was pleasantly surprised by your explanation.

I agree when a view is presently in a polite and mature manner, its far more likely to be regarded if not agreed upon.

I agree with you that the treatment of a scene is also important. Perhaps the way the scene was shown could have been improved upon. tejas is sort of okay with the whole kidnapping drama, she only cries when is forced into the bus.😕

😆😆 No, I didnt mean that they show Prem as a nice and kind guy but somewhere the rule of law should be upheld at least in todays time. Also Tejas is now turned into a meek clingy girl, where is the brave and feisty girl, who used to fight it out rather than be damsel in distress.

Yes his teacher brother did say and hope there is some punishment and repentance thereafter.

But todays epi, waters it down as Tejas is being naive and believing Prem.🥱

Waise why would a Don's son do the most ridiculous thing as love rather than disturbing her daily routine, studies, result etc?

Yep, I know that to be very true, tbh I am only a fan of good storytelling,ML, FL's don't matter to me. If the story turns crap, I quit the show without a second thought. Also don't ever let people stop you from posting your opinions. The world is not homogeneous and people have different opinions.

With regards to the rule of the law being followed, I think its kind of established that only law of the land in Rajpipla is DSR and hence why Teja smartly went upto him for justice, because the boys listen to only one person. I wouldnt call Teja naive or clingy, I think she is playing the long game where we are led to believe that she believes Prem but I think no such thing is going to happen. Infact I am quite sure that Prem will fall into the trap😆

As for why would a Don' son do ridiculous things? Have you seen this character, he behaves most idiotically😆, he probably underestimates Teja, as do we where like him we believe she will fall in love with him. But its probably going to be a shocker for him.😆

I'm into whichever show I find strong FL's and I've to say Teja is one... how many girls can dare return to the same place (actually his house) who kidnapped and man-handled her. She isn't quiet or meek, this is her own way of returning the slap by making his own family protect her, I think this is being really smart as she wants to continue her studies in the same town while she can't really openly go against a bunch of buys... who're also termed as dons of the town.

Teja seems to not have much idea about DSR, she actually doesn't care... he's being good to her and has promised to protect her, right now nothing more matters to her. She's going to take their help whenever needed, to complete her education without any tussles and I think she liked the ladies of the house who aren't bad, she cooked for Prem's mom as an act of being human.

This is fiction and as audience we'll take from it only what we want or like. I like Teja's character as she is going to show that we can win over the bad by being smarty pants and not necessarily being like regular girls of ITV, sacrificial and submissive.

Me too, if the story gets too obnoxious for my tolerance levels I leave it.
What I meant was once DSR says NO then it is NO even for Prem. But guess for Prem NO does not exist😆😆
See if there was a non hero vs Tejas then they would make her win but with hero she is all helpless.😕
Hope Tejas is not really falling but the way they are showing her all caring and serving Prem is sickening to me. If they continue I am not going watch it and will look for something else.

I do hope there is some day when TV shows really change and show something respectable and intelligent towards women.
