You have answered yourself in the above statement. I somehow do not completely agree with this statement. Saumya's response in the initial intimate scenes would have been exactly similar whether it had been gaurav or somebody else. She had not opened up at all and is quite visible on screen that she is quite hesitant for intimate scenes. It is not a question of who your co-star is, it is only a matter of how mature you are as an actor.
In last few episodes , she was much better actress in expressing all the emotions as well as intimate scenes.
As far as scaring Gaurav is concerned, I don't think I could find that onscreen at all. I never found him conscious or awkward or shying away on screen. He was as brilliant in all the scenes as he was before or I must say much better in last few episodes because Saumya was also participating and he was not carrying it alone.
