Rusty/Samay could not find orphanage and return. Samay gets depressed due to his illness and decides to leave. He cannot bear that his siblings and mohini do not care about him and that Madan is in so much pain. He learns that Rusty will also not forgive him. So he decides that his punishment is to suffer alone. Before leaving he transfers alot of money in the name of Randhir Deol to repay for the property he took from them because now he is truly sorry and he thinks this is one of the ways the load on his heart will lessen.
He goes away to a secluded place to live his last days alone. Rusty is crushed and when she hears that Randhir has gotten all his money back she is overjoyed. She forgives Samay wholeheartedly at this point. All misconceptions are cleared between her and randhir when she goes up to him and tells him why she married samay and that now he is a changed man. Randhir forgives Samay and is both sorry and happy. sorry for what he put his daughter through and happy for the fact that his daughter loved him all along.
Mathura also realizes that Rusty is not "manhoos"😆 and that she loves her father and randhir loves rusty. she decides to accept her!
Samay on the other hand will somehow end up finding his real mother and eventually a cure for the tumour. Meanwhile Rusty will be broken and looking for her hubby. after a month has passed everyone will start believing samay has died...except her. Her family will force her to re-marry. (madan and family will go back to Canada)
At this point Ajit will re-enter her life. Ajit and candy have had a fight and ajit left canada and came to india (they're still married). Ajit's feelings for rusty ignite. he asks her to marry him and says he will leave candy...they dont get along anyways.
Rusty on the other hand will be confused. she cannot decide what to do. she cannot accept the fact that samay is no longer alive.
after being cured samay is very happy and will return! Then begins a love triangle between Rusty Samay and Ajit. and in the End Rusty choses Samay and Ajit goes back. The end. all a figment of my crazy imagination.
