Pawan Shankar is ready to move on. BAG Films' serial Siddhanth (aired on Star One) is coming to a close in mid-November. Yesterday was the last day of shooting.
Speaking from the sets, Pawan Shankar (who played the title role) said, "I am completely satisfied having played this role. I got an opportunity to explore every aspect of acting. Now, it's time to move on."
Couldn't the show have been stretched, considering the fact that it wasn't doing too badly? "I don't know about that, but I think Star One is one channel which is not going to drag its shows; nahin to Star aur Star One mein kya farak rahega? Actually, we did extend it a bit. The original contract was for 35 episodes. We did extend it to 52," says Pawan.
The show will culminate on an 'All's well that ends well' note with Siddhanth tying the nuptial knot with his ladylove Anamika, played by Pooja Ghai Rawal.
Buzz is, Manish Goswami (Siddhant Cinevision) has offered something to Pawan. Is it Sarrkkar? "No. But I can't talk about it, because nothing has been made final yet. There is a project with Manish, which I may do soon. Let's see how things shape out."
