Ananya stormed out the house, with a huge frown on her face. Everyone knows that frowns don't suit Ananya at all, but she was raging with frustration that her mom had planned to get her married, despite the fact that she didn't want to. She walked to Aakash's car, and opened the door very forcefully.
"Hey, Rulebook! Kya hua? Tum itna pareshan kyun hai?"
Ananya sat down and began crying. This was the very first time that Aakash saw her crying, and strangely, he didn't like it. He felt like wiping her tears, and reassuring her that whatever the problem was, everything was going to be perfectly okay.
"First Officer, baath kya hai? Mujhe batao na, please?"
"Kuch nahi, main bilkul teek hoon."
"First Officer, jo bhi problem hai, sabh teek ho jayenga, I promise."
"Captain, kaise sabh teek hoga, jab meri mom ne meri shaadi ke intezaam kar diya, mujhe shaadi NAHI karna hai!"
Aakash's heart sank, very deeply. Did Ananya just say 'shaadi ke intezaam?' No, she couldn't have, she wouldn't have! But still, Aakash knew that that was what she just said.
"Ek minute, Tumne kya kiya tha? Shaadi ke intezaam?"
"Yes, Captain! Shaadi ke intezaam! Aaj shaam ko, ek ladka mujhse milne a raha hai, aur mujhe abhi, paanch minute pehle pata chala!"
Aakash was feeling extremely disappointed, and frankly, immensely upset for Ananya.
"First Officer, I'm so sorry, really, I am. But I promise, sabh teek ho jayenga!" Aakash took Ananya's hand and clasped it into his, then put them onto her heart.
"Mujhe promise karo, Rulebook, ke tum kabhi nahi ronga iss chotti baaton ke liye!"
Ananya suddenly felt a shiver down her spine when Aakash held her hand. A sweet, little smile blossomed on her face, and she couldn't help but saying yes.
"Okay, I promise!"
"Yeh hui na baath?"
Ananya chuckled, and then they both left for the airport.
30 minutes later...
"Aakash, Ananya! Here come my two star pilots of Inde Air!" Smiled Mr. Rohit Mafatlal, CEO of Inde Airlines.
"Good morning, sir." They both smiled politely.
'THIS IS AN ANNOUNCEMENT FOR FLIGHT IA0815 FROM DELHI TO RAJKOT, PLEASE START BOARDING THE PLANE, THE FLIGHT WILL LEAVE IN 20 MINUTES.'
"Well, that's our cue, First Officer! Hum chale?"
"Of course!"
They both boarded the plane, and couldn't help smiling every time they looked at each other. They both felt like nobody in the world understood them, but each other, and that's what blossomed their beautiful friendship, or would it stay like that for long?
TBC 😊
Sorry if I didn't write too much this time, but Part 3 will have way more drama to it... 😉
