Chapter 15
Sitting close to each other in shiny moon light, watching the waves roll by, hands in hands... it was a heavenly feeling. It was getting cooler so she snuggled close to him and he too held her as close as possible...He could feel her warm breath on his neck !!! All his loneliness had vanished the moment she stepped into his life.
She was totally lost in the moment when he spoke " Ananya!"
"Hmmm "
" I need to tell you something more about me.. " ( He wanted to let her know about him as he did not wanted to start a relationship on lie)
She turned and looked at him .. He was about to speak his truth that Ananya got a call from home..
He took the phone from her hand and spoke with her Nanaji " Sir, I am thankful to you for understanding us and allowing Ananya to come ... and sorry for the way it happened...I will soon drop her back"
Her Nanaji was taken back by his sincere apology and concern .. He proudly said" Beta , I love Ananya very much and I know you will take care of her quite well". I trust you both!
He hugged her again and pecked her lips and said " Chalo ab jaldi se , nahi tu I may end up doing something more..." and winked...!
Next Day ( At the Airport)
Everyone was sent urgent message to report to the command room for an important meeting with Mafatlal.
Mafatlal was unaware of their confession. He still thought that Ananya and he will be getting engaged soon!
Everyone was in the conference room! He came in the room and went towards Ananya and held her in half hug and said " Sorry for yesterday and ruining our engagement ceremony! Don't worry we will soon get engaged "
She was about to jerk his hand and push him away... that Akash signaled her with his eyes to be quiet...and ignore. Akash knew he had to control Mafatlal soon now!He could not allow anyone touch her.. He had to expose them quickly.
Mafatal announced that they had security breach at the airport last night and he had to sacrifice his personal commitment to handle the situation! He announced that he will not tolerate any bad name for Inde Airlines, and they are soon starting their first international fleet .. Direct Flight from Mumbai to Phuket. He also mentioned that they have procured 5 new planes for this. No delays, no leaves , absolutely no rule breaking ( looking at Akash) will be allowed.
He then in a sarcastic tone congratulated Akash... For his help yesterday! And said in a firm and commanding tone
" Cap'n Akash you have always been a rule breaker, but please next time, never do anything without my permission." We had to manage another Pilot last minute to fill in.. Not again!
Ananya could not resist herself and said " I am sorry to say Sir, But anyone would have helped in this situation. "
Akash smiled looking at her ! He loved her for this !
Mafatlal was not expecting this from her...
He then announced one last thing.. that Ananya would be flying the inaugural flight to Phuket on Christmas eve... And then they have their 5 year celebration in Phuket on 26th Dec..and so all are invited to be there.
His Dad entered the room and added, celebration does not end there... Come here Ananya... We will then have grand wedding of my Son and Ananya ...and this time no engagement straight wedding.. and he came forward and hugged her..and said happily"I will speak with your Nanaji today and finalize everything."
She was shocked but she kept quiet as Akash pleaded her with his eyes... Akash too was in a rage of anger, his eyes were red..Arjun was also looking at them..But he had to hold himself back.. as he could not do anything wrong now!
Ananya was very angry and she had to calm herself down! She was unable to understand why is Akash doing this !
She quickly walked out of the room on pretext of a call... She wanted to yell there and then let everyone know that she will never ever marry Mafatlal... She was only Akash's as he was her life now!
Akash knew he had to let her know everything before its too late! He knew what he has to do!
She was flying to Pune today with Captain Arjun. She really wanted to speak with Akash and clear all this confusion. And then her phone beeped...'
