Uttama tells Ganga the pandit must have got his wires crossed for not getting the prayer preparations done. Uttama points the finger at Mahant about knowing Vedika was alone at the mandhir. Uttama goes to Maya and lets her know the truth about Vedika's pregnancy but Maya had the mobile on to her husband Vikram who overhears everything. The in-laws hold a prayer for Vedika and the pandit tells them about the char dam for the maha shivratri and in doing so the family will be blessed. They agree to take part for the yatra.
Vikram tells Arjun to pack his bags to go back home. Ganga wants Mahnat to tell the truth to his parents about Vedika. Mahant refuses as he doesn't know what the truth is so that they can get to the root of the problem themselves. Mants parents leave for the pilgrimage.
