What a poor funeral for poor Sumitra!

I had hoped that Sumitra's funeral would be beautiful and that she will have a nice send off.

And that at least more members of her family would be there.

But there was only Loha, the murderer, and only two other people who had truly loved and respected her, Shekhar and Laali. Others were Jamuni and Gangiya.

Ranvijay wasn't there, nor Suman, or Rekha or even Madhur. Riddhi, the twin did not attend her grandmother's funeral nor did Aunt Barchi attend her sister-in-law's funeral.

All in all, there were only 20 people and most of them strangers at Loha's house.

Very few attended the funeral of this dignified lady. Why? She was loved and respected by a lot of people.

With such an undignified death for Sumitra, I had thought maybe the director could dedicate more time on her funeral episode, and give her the dignified send off that befits her character. A nice farewell for a truly nice and beautiful lady.

Very poor episode. Not done properly at all.

The director at least could have brought everyone together for a single shoot for a short while.

Very well said Neela. This is really disgusting to say the least.

She was a very dignified woman and deserved a lot more respect.

But I wonder if indeed she has been let go......... or if she is coming

back They have not done any big announcement about it. Just

Sumitra posting on FB.😕 I hope the ratings slide down now.

I cannot stand this anymore........ all this woman abuse😡

The funeral for Sumitra was humliating and embarrassing for such a lovely woman who did her best to help the family and people around her. She was a kind-hearted gentle soul and should have received a respectful funeral not one that was worth two cents and done in a hurry.

The outcome of the funeral indicates what Loha thought of his wife and the amount of respect and love he had for her...zero, zilch, nothing, none etc etc....😡😡😡

The funeral definately gave a good picture of how dysfunctional this family is and the lack of appreciation for each other. 😭😭😭😭

As I said this is a reflection of the family's love for Sumitra accept for Laali and Shekhar who would have given her a more respectful funeral. 👏👏👏👏

Today's show was extremely sad and depressing. I think I am going to get depressed watching any more killing and funerals in this show...😭😭😭The worse is the way Loha treated Laali as a dog. He is really going over the line so much and needs his head removed on a chopping board and displayed in front of the Haveli...😆😆😆😆

In his quest for more and more power, family (wife, sons and daughters) does not matter to Loha at all. He is like the figure from mythology, Hirankashyap who was ready to kill his son Prahalad because he was getting in his way.

But the surprising thing is this: Loha did hit Sumitra, but the intention was not to kill her. Even he was surprised when Gangiya said Sumitra had died.

It was the aftermath that was surprising. Loha showed no guilt or remorse over Sumitra's death. And he shed a lot of crocodile tears.

That was exactly my point no emotions... no feelings for his wife. He hated her all the time. He just pretended to love her. All the times when she was missing or sick he tried to show he cared, I thought he did but I think otherwise now. How sad and depressing to marry a man like that.😭😭

I think he planned her death to be this way. Loha only loves himself.

Sorry I do not know the story about the mythology you mentioned, but I get the gist of what it is about. There is always some power struggle between two characters. Very similar to real life..😛😛

Both Ranvijay and Loha expressed no sorrow for their dead wives.

Ranvijay wanted to marry Jamuni on his wife and daughter's funeral. (but was forced to marry Rekha instead.)

Loha shed a lot of tears. Most of it was croc tears. 😆😆

The death and funeral does not make sense.

How is it there is no inquiry into the death of Sumitra? Obviously her death was not natural. She was healthy and loads of people saw her hours earlier participating in the puja etc ... how is it no one questioned her passing away with no cause 😕 I am more than confused!!

How come the Panchayat does not appear to question this, when they can suddenly turn up in houses questioning the goings on and accusing and punishing innocents?!!

Gangiya mentioned that Loha killed his wife openly, in front of Loha's goondas without fear that the story will leak... I am surprised ... did they trust their goondas so much ?!! 😕 sure don't make sense... especially with Loha standing for election and he would have to appear squeaky clean... he is now open to blackmail from so many goondas...

Excellent observations😛👏👏...Right now there is nothing that makes sense about this show😭😭😭. It is screwed up now with Sumitra's death. sigh....

They can not do an autopsy of Sumitra's body now that it is burnt to a crisp. I don't think they do that in the villages..I can be wrong. Beside Loha would probably prevent it because he does not want people to find out the truth about his wife.

who will be responsible for Sumitra's death? I think Loha more than Gangiya will be in trouble.

Laali should report this to the front pape of the daily newspaper and get Loha to lose his seat. Now one will vote for the jerk.
