Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned …
There is an old English saying … hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
Suman is a scorned woman. She is in love with her husband. And her husband is in love with another woman.
The more she tries to get Madhur's love, the more she drives him away.
I suppose desperate times calls for desperate measures. Probably Suman has realized that being nice won't bring her the desired results. She thinks that if she gets Rekha out of the way, she will get Madhur to focus on her.
You really can't blame Suman. Her situation is bordering on desperation now as she sees Madhur slipping further and further away from her.
She is a scorned woman, and she wants her husband back! And she will do anything to bring him to her ….
(The easiest thing for Suman to do, of course, is to force Madhur to back to his own home. Her own Sasural. I still don't understand what Madhur is doing here. I guess nobody does. This way he will be out of Rekha's way. But that's taking the easy way out …)
By the way, why does Suman call her husband Madhurji . I don't understand the ji part. Can somebody out there make me understand?
