Suman is as immature as they come not to mention ungrateful. For the past 7 years, Shymali has done everything for Suman and her sister yet today she talks so poorly of her. Rekha was way too patient with her, she should have stood up for her sister. I feel sorry for Madhur, this marriage should have never happened!

The good ones on this show always get the short end of the stick for being so nice. No one ever cares for them and they always lose out...like Rekha and Lali..a shame😭😭😭😭 However Rekha is also at fault because she did not even try to fight...all she did was run away crying...

Suman deserves a tight slap!! Forget what Laali did for her. Think of the situation that Laali was in - Laali was tied to a tree, she was going to be stripped naked in front of the crowd - not a soul (apart from Shekhar and possibly Sumitra) lifted a finger to try and save her - shame on all the womenfolk who stood and watched a fellow woman being insulted!! What did Suman expect Laali to do - stand there and allow the Mahant to strip her naked. What did Suman do - except stand and watch with all the people!! Did she even try to protest - NO!!
I have no regard for Suman - let her hate all she want. She is immatured and selfish!!

Suman is full of herself. She has no consideration for anyone. I agree with you about the women folks who just stood there like a bunch of dumb doorknobs and let Laali get all that bad treatment...awful, terrible.....the worse thing is that the women of all the people did nothing to save another woman....all they do is listen to the men and agree with them. They never stand up for other women...such a shame...Suman would never have protested what happened to Laali. She is a self centered brat. 😡🤢😆

It is disgusting that women don't stand up for each other, its even more disgusting that they don't stand up for themselves most of the time. I'm sure if there was a common villager tied up to the tree she would have been begging for mercy from this tyrant Mahant instead of standing up for herself.

I've noticed this trend in real life too. A lot of women, regardless of where they are from, don't stand up for their fellow females. Women in India (from what I know personally, not stereotyping) tend to talk about other women in derogatory manners. For instance I visited India a few years ago to visit family, and I'm used to wearing pants,skirts, dresses, and tops. My neighbors pointed fingers at me and kept talking amongst themselves about how inappropriately I was dressed, and this was in Bombay, in 2005. Ridiculous!

They were all women. Men stared, but women back bi*ched. Horrendous. They said all sorts of crap like this girl is not well mannered, her parents did not teach her how to dress appropriately, and some other stuff I can't post on this forum, and my aunt who lives there says that is normal for everyone there, so ignore it. You can imagine how annoyed and disgusted I was.

Anyways, something I've noticed here in Canada, if a girl is assaulted, or harassed, a lot of younger women tend to side with the party that is at fault, as opposed to the victim, because they want to believe that they are better than that, and it won't happen to them because they won't let it.

Reality check : bad things can happen to anyone, anywhere.

I'm really passionate about this issue, sorry for the rant. But to sum it up, a lot of women are very critical of other women and girls in general, especially when it comes to something as disgusting and morbid as assault or harassment.

What a lovely update..I agree with what you said. Women tend to be very catty with each other. They love to talk about other women and make themselves look better in front of others. That is what we call lack of self esteem. They want attention drawn to them. I think this is what Suman was trying to do in the show.
As for dressing people like to judge other people and talk about them.... these people have a very sad and depressing life. They are not happy with their life so they talk about others....this is because they are jealous and try to mask it with putting the other person down. Not very attractive....
I think women are worse with women because they do not help to fight. This is a dumb example but look at the show when Lali was being punished. No one came to her rescue...well Sumitra tried a little, but why could the other woman not have started fighting for Lali..they stand around like dumbies.
I think women are to blame for some of the stereotypes that exist with women....i siaid enough....

Lali should go back with the doc and stay with him. At least she would not have to worry about being looked after. The doc will give her a good home. Plus she will be away from the havleli and the disfunctional people....😉😉😉

Thanks =)

@ red bold: Agreed 110% It's shameful, but its even more annoying when women behave in such manners, then whine about how miserable their lives are, pathetic
