Ratan Rajpoot down with swine flu

Rajput was earlier detected malaria when she had first visited her doctor on August 15th. But three days later she was hospitalised and kept in isolation after she started feeling symptoms of swine flu and was confirmed to have the disease. After being out of action for a couple of weeks, the actress will be visiting her sets today.

Says Ratan, ''This has been the worst thing that could have happened to me. Swine flu is the worst of all the diseases. I had gone for a check-up on the 15th of August and they suspected it to be malaria and started the medication. But after I fainted on the sets on 18th August, that I was hospitalised and I was shifted to a separate ward.

They had already suspected it to be swine flu by then. I was discharged three days later but I haven't recovered completely. I am feeling very weak and fear going out. My immune system is on an all-time low and I fear contracting any disease or relapsing of flu.''

The actress terms the two weeks as the worst time of her life. ''I have never been so severely ill. I hate being injected and while I was down with the flu, I was injected several times a day,'' chides Rajput.

Being away from the sets for so long, Rajput has decided to meet her co-actors today by visiting the sets. Says she, ''I am missing my co-actors and unit so I am going to meet them today. I have been asked to rest for one month but this is not possible when you working in a daily soap.''
