of course after the marriage when she is supposed to come into the house she steps on red paint and then walks into her new home right???

it is very symbolic in hinduism...when u come to a new house after wedding, u step on to alta and milk.which gives a red-pink color. it symbolizes that the new bride is coming as a laxmi and when it goes on the other direction, it seems laxmi is going out.

As much as I will feel bad for shailendra, but will be very happy to see lali going home to madhav and shekhar and family.
