Souten Vs. Raakhel

Since Shekhar is Laali's second wife, should she be Siddeshwari's Souten instead of Shekhars " Raakhel"?

Is it because she is lower caste they dubbed her Raakhel..? Because shes is MARRIED to Shekhar so she should be a co-wife. I wonder if Siddeshwari is gonna lay bigamy charges on Shekhar

But then again the Chinese married their concubines(mistress) and never really called them their wives..
