Idea #4 for the show - would Sid lie to her Dad?

Would Sid lie to her own father, mom and family about the baby?

Shekhar can play tricky and call Sid's dad and tell him about her preg.

They will all come rushing into the house and take her by surprise, and she won't know they're coming. They'll be like, let's celebrate! Ladoo batow, pede khao, etc

He can tell Sid in front of everyone that why don't we send you to your Maike for a few months while you're having a baby? You can meet your mom, relatives, share the good news that you're finally giving the Thakur Khandan a boy, everyone in both families will give you so much attention...

After all you deserve it...

She'll say no, she'll fight every attempt at being made to go, because then she can't make Laali's life miserable...

Then he can make her a deal, stop lying or I'll tell everyone you're lying. If you tell everyone about my Mai, no one will believe you, as no mother can kill her own child.

He knows the whole truth but he can play with Sid a bit, as she has admitted to trying to have Laali and his baby killed.

She won't go, but it'll scare her into re-evaluating her adversary, her own husband, if she keeps trying to get Laali killed with her baby.

This would be a great twist to the pregnancy of Sid. Shekhar can't deny her fake pregnancy but he can show Sid that he too can play this game of lies and deception with her. Like he did when he led her to believe that he had poisoned her and had a tape to make her spill the beans which she did.

Having Shekhar call Sid's parents and have them come as a surprise visit would be something I as a viewer would love to see. Question is will she be able to lie to her own parents who raised her like a princess? Will she feel any guilt going on with the charade? This is an area the writers should really explore. Does Sid have a soul? Does she have a conscience? Does she have any humanity left in her?

You are right she is scared of Shekhar and this might make her reevaluate the fact that Shekhar is capable of being just as devious at her game.

She'll be scared to death to see her whole family there out of the blue!

All expecting her to be telling the truth, but her knowing in her heart she's lying...the guilt would be too much...could she fall that far from grace?

Families are sacrosanct...too close to the heart.
